    Does the "tornado" work

it really does work. i'm putting one on the inlet side of my turbo this season. supposedly its good for about a 1 sec reduction in et with a turbo

turbo kit setup. Need advice on motor internals to handle the power

always budget about 25% more than you think you need. as for the engine, i guess you could build up a badass dart shortblock and throw your stock top end on it for now. buy a good fuel system now, then save for a quality top end. that 03 gt has a wayyyy diff engine than we do and yes...

    351w h/c/i, sts turbo...?

the only stuff sts makes for mustangs is for the 05-up that have rear mounted mufflers. i personally would opt for the gas tank delete kit. then custom mold a fuel cell in the rear seat well thats fully enclosed with carbon fiber and then put some subs/amp on top of it for that custom...

    Gear install coming up. Questions...

never heard that called a pinion shaft---that pretty confusing imo. try johnbleakleyford.com for all your oe stuff---they have some killer deals. you can upgrade to 31 spline stuff for less than $500---03 cobra diff, frpp axles.

    Gear install coming up. Questions...

wtf is a pinion shaft? are you rebuilding your differential? if so then sure, get the new s-spring or buy a brand new diff for cheap.

    351w h/c/i, sts turbo...?

    1) why would you want to port the heads, with twin 67's you will max those 42's with stock heads--let alone stock 185's 2) let me know where you find this magical corsa setup for our cars---not to mention the money you would waste on such a setup with a turbo that will eliminate it completely...

    Is this a deal?

sounds about right. i've seen alot of blown bullits in that price range---seems like the unmodded ones are about $2k more.

Brakes: Best Bang for the Buck...(Under $1k)

for the rears you will need the caliper bracket kit---they are fairly cheap. another thing i have noticed is that the earlier model gt rear calipers are not identical to cobra calipers. they will fit and work, but the pad bracket is dif between the two. i personally run plain all the way...

What are my options for a Lightning MAF Cold Air Kit??? Any one have PICS???

go check your pro m meter first. if you bought it recently then it may already have a 6 pin maf with an adaptor harness already on it. if so then you will only need the air filter adapter and air filter---maf of course. i bought my maf at buyfordracing.com for $80. got the airfilter...

    Alignment Specs Needed

max caster is not always a good idea due to the fact that it can affect bump travel while turning. i run mine close to min caster, going no further than mid plate. i don't use standard measurements when doing alignments so i usually have mine set at -2 minutes of toe

Brakes: Best Bang for the Buck...(Under $1k)

100% correct. :nice: i too would rec the cobra rear kit. i am not a fan of the baer kit for the fact you can't get it with plain rotors. if you MUST have slotted/drilled rotors then i strongly suggest the brembo kit due to the larger pad area will offset the rotor area lost from the...

    Alignment Specs Needed

i don't have any experience with your cc plates, but this is what i run: 5.5 deg pos caster 1.0 deg neg camber 0 toe or slight toe in

Brakes: Best Bang for the Buck...(Under $1k)

PBR is the name of the company that makes the caliper. they are based out of australia and are used in alot of OE applications such as cobras/machs/bullits, c4, c6, c6 vettes, 4th gen ls1 f-bodies, gto's, etc... and no you cannot use 99-up calipers with 13" rotors without major modification.

dyno numbers in for the vortech

the new M3 will be available in sedan eventually. we haven't even got a coupe yet. the new turbo cars are awsome---its called the 335 and can be had in coupe/sedan/hardtop vert. 6 series are awsome--specially the new M6--500hp 8400rpm 7spd trans :hail2: therian: he got the blower...

dyno numbers in for the vortech

on my buddies 99 M3 :p anyways stock the lil ol 3.2 I6 made 205/225, added a dinan vortech supercharger(6.5-7.5 psi) and a corsa catback. spun the rollers today for 300/260 on the same dyno he used before with very similar weather. the S52 engine runs 10.8:1 compression, low boost, 91...

Do i really need extended ball joints?

the control arm has a slightly bigger notch in the front to allow a bigger wheel/tire combo. it is very hard to see and you will prolly never see the benefit from it. i chose the 03 arms mainly due to price and the reduced down time, and i replaced them due to the fact that i wanted to spend...
