    Engine pings like mad!!

I remember when I put mine on originally it did the same thing, it pinged like crazy when I put the 93 tune in, but I had more than a 1/2 a gallon of 87 left. I probably had an 1/8th of a tank and then I filled it up with 93 right before loading the tune. I loaded the 87 tune and it ran a lot...

    Cleaning & Polishing favorite products?

It will not take paint off. You definately want to be careful to make sure and keep the car lubricated while wiping the car down with the clay. Basically, most clay bars come in a kit that contain the lubricant you need. The lubricant is a lot like quick detailer that you spray on the car pretty...

    Cleaning & Polishing favorite products?

I was teasing, Zaino makes great stuff, I just found some other things I like better. You're absolutely right though, it's all in the prep before the wax! I love getting out there and spending some time in the garage getting the car all shiney! My wife comes out there and teases me all the...

    Cleaning & Polishing favorite products?

If you want to stay over the counter, Meguires makes some pretty good polishes and waxes. I've used their NXT wax before and it works ok, just dusted a little too much for my liking and doesn't last very long. I like Poorboy's World Natty's paste wax "blue". It is formulated for darker...

CMCV Delete Plates without a tune?

I'd never let my granny drive my Stang! :D Wait, you said who, not who's.

CMCV Delete Plates without a tune?

If it were me then, I'd rather be safe than sorry and look in to getting a tune for them then. I know I did when I got mine, I just didn't know this for sure to answer the original poster. I'd hate to install them and then really mess something up by trying to save some money not getting a $50...

    advice please...

If he's selling it, maybe he'd let you test fit it to see what it would look like. If he's local to you, asking him and see, it couldn't hurt! Just my opinion though, I'm not sure I'd go for it, I don't perticularly care for that look, but if you do, go for it!

CMCV Delete Plates without a tune?

I don't know man, I could have sworn that was the case, but I just found were I read that, it was were Doug posted on a different forum regarding the install on his car for testing. He posted his results after tuning as well. I can PM a link to the thread were this was posted if requested...

CMCV Delete Plates without a tune?

Are you sure about this? The only reason I ask is because I could have sworn that the air/fuel tables were also adjusted with the tune, not just disengaging the motor. I could be wrong though, I'll look around and see if I can find were I found that.

    Good begining mods?

What Poopdawg said. I will add though that I don't have a short throw shifter, but I've read over and over that the MGW is about the best on the market. It's pretty pricey, but I hear it's well worth the money. 4.10's, shifter, intake, tune, yep, those are about the best starting mods out...

GT500 replica rear spoiler install...56K WARNING!

I didn't think about that, that probably would have been tougher with fishing line to do by yourself. Awesome use of the library card though! Speaking of, I can't remember the last time I've seen the inside of one (I know, it's sad)!

GT500 replica rear spoiler install...56K WARNING!

Very nice write up man! When I installed my GT500 spoiler, the worst part for me was removing the additional adhesive that was left behind. I used my thumbs like you did and just kind of peeled the adhesive up, but I kind of pressed to hard for to long and literally pulled the skin away from my...

    long tube install

I don't have them, but from my research when I was going to get them, they seem to be a lot easier than on the SN95's. Now I still hear they are a PITA, but not as much as the previous models. A lift will make it easier, but it can definately be done on jackstand out in the garage. Sorry I...

    Roush Spoiler

I just installed mine about a month ago. There are 3 holes for each side piece that have to be drilled in to the quarter panel, as well as 2 additional holes for the center piece that have to be enlarged. Actually, I can't remember if I had to drill 2 new holes for the center piece or just widen...

I use the left over bacon grease from breakfast, it leaves a real slick finish. My neighbors are probably getting pissed off at me from hauling butt out of the neighborhood to get away from the dogs though.

In my owners manual, it tells me how to disable that in case of snow or ice, have you looked in yours to see if it's there?

    Intake delete plates??

They are definately worth it. They are one of those mods that don't make a massive difference by their selves, but it certianly adds up when you start doing other things like underdrive pullies and a driveshaft. Bamachips dynotuned a set to the tune of 6-10HP all across the board, if I...
