Which would be better in the long run? Just buying a new C4 or having the old, original, leaky, clunky, sloppy shifting C4 rebuilt which has been rebuilt twice already in the last 10 years.
It's a '67 FB, 289 with a Compcam, Edelbrock Performer manifold, and Edelbrock 600 CFM.
'67 FB, 289, Holley 600, mild CompCam, headers. Set timing approx.12-15, runs like crap(especially under load and higher rpm's), set timing around 30, runs great. Question is "has the timing chain slipped a tooth or so"? Any insights?
Anyone know where a good place is to find the standard factory gauges (temp, fuel, volts, etc.)? Have a '67 that needs a few but can't seem to find any.
