How critical are shocks and struts

I ran Ford 'C' springs for about 2 years (about 10k miles put on) with factory struts and thought it was "fine" until I swapped the Tokico HP's in. Can you get by without changing them?YES. Will you notice a HUGE difference when swapping them out to anything aftermarket?YES!! My car actually has...

Does the location of the muffler affect sound?

Moving the mufflers closer to the engine will increase the "raspiness" of the exhaust, farther back will give you more of a "smooth roar". People think the short pipes make it louder but it's dumping them under the car that makes it louder. Even quiet mufflers with dumps are loud because of the...

    KDW2 Road Noise (video)

I'd check for an imbalance first. Tire noise shouldn't "vibrate" the car.

    idle problem

A little fluctuation is normal but not that much, and the compressor shouldn't cycle on and off that often. I'd say you're running low on refrigerant.

    600HP on stock crank?

If you keep the rpm at 6000 or less you should be fine. Yes,you don't have much room to play on the tune though.I wouldn't feel safe running much more hp than that.

    idle problem

I guess i should explain that the car uses the A/C compressor to de-humidify the air when using the defrost and that helps clear the windshield faster.

    idle problem

When the A/C compressor kicks in and out it will cause the idle to jump. Normally the computer can adjust so there's not much fluctuation but are there any mods to the car? ALso,does the A/C system work?

how much would YOU pay for this SC kit??

You need to be very very careful with used blower kits. There are lots of stories about guys damaging one and selling it off because the factory wouldn't warranty it due to abuse or neglect (improper oil line connection/turning it too fast/etc). I'd want to see the head unit and hold it in my...

    Spark plugs for Zex kit?

Factory tune OR back the timing down to about -10% and the fuel a couple percent richer. You could leave the fuel alone as most "street" nitrous systems err on the side of caution and run fairly rich. I have the Predator as well and i only adjust the timing, not the fuel, with the predator tune.

Need help on fog light bulbs/assembly

The bulbs should come out, attached to the pigtail, when you turn the plug 90 degress and remove it from the fog light housing. There should be plenty of slack to pull the pigtail back and work with it. No need to remove the lense just to change a bulb.

    Intake for nitrous

No intake except the P-51 would help the fuel puddling "problem". I say "problem" becuase it's not a problem if you run a rpm window switch set to 2800 rpm or higher turn on. I have run a 175 (yes 175) shot several times and i can't count how many lower hp nitrous shots have run through my motor...
