    A little problem in the rear.

    That happened when my pinion bearing was on the way out. Had what seemed like excessive lash in the pinion that turned out be the whole pinion shaft moving around letting it turn more than it should. This was with less than 1000 miles on the bearing.

    Window switches?

    The switches are repairable but you will need some very specific electronic repair tools. If you don't have those then getting a new switch is not that exspensive.

    Hood flew open!!

    My 3" cowl hood flew up this spring and it was definately latched properly. Detached entirely off the car,smashed the windsheild,dented the roof in about 4-5 inches,causing the rear window to implode all over me. Have had it on for over a year before that happened. I'm looking into hood pins but...

    JUST LOWERED MY 01 GT CONV AND ABS LIGHT CAME ON

    You probably disconnected the ABS sensor on one or both of the front wheels. Look for a small electrical connector on the back of the spindle and see if it's connected properly.

    auto shifter/brake lights problem

    The brake-shift-interlock is messing up. I BELIEVE it's electronically controlled so you'll have to consult something like a Haynes manual but my first guess would be the ignition switch itself.

    Car is finally 100% again

    The adaptor and hose are in. I just need to buy and install the t-fitting in the coolant line. I'm about to park it so that's probably gonna wait till next year,along with the Steeda caster/camber plates and X2 balljoints i picked up this summer.

    I'd definate;y do the cams first. Think of it this way. With the cams in you'll make about 15-20 more at the rear wheels. Right now you don't NEED the ported heads. THey will give you 10-15 rwhp. If you port the heads afterwards,you'll easily gain 25 rwhp or more. I'd say cams,clutch (Mcleod)...

    I'd say low 13's should be easy.not high 12's,with those mods. Unless you gut the car then 12's easy. You'd need to add cams at least and maybe p&p heads on a "street" car (still has all power accessories&interior&functioning stereo) to hit 12's.

    Another vote for the McLeod!! Mine has been great and hooks EXTREMELY well!
