    I've had success by hammering on a socket that will wedge over the locking lug. Use a Craftsman brand so you can bring it back!

    I presume that these could be brass or bronze valve guides? Be sure to ask the people at the place you will be having them hot tanked at. I seem to recall that anything not made of iron/steel may not be there when you are done with the hot tanking.

    Regarding the wire harness question, it uses the same connection point as the softtop wiring harness, you just switch the two. See the last pic on page one, look in the lower right corner. Regarding the visors, they are the same as a standard convertible. Thanks for all of the enthusiasm...

    Only with the soft top down. If you look at the last pic I've posted, it is looking out the back window from directly behind the driver. The top is down where it would be stowed normally. It also came with the "boot" to go over the top when it is down and the hard top is off.

    That swap is a lot of work! But if you rebuild it, consider a stroker, it's free HP. If you decide to build a stroker, I've got a stroker crank for a 351W it's 4340 steel and its got a 3.75 stroke.
