    INSTURMENT PANEL PROBLEM?

    For the gas gauge, go and fill her up to top and then set the fuel gauge to Full. For the volt gauge, I'd suggest letting it run for awhile then while at idle, take a DMM and measure the voltage and then set the gauge to around that.

    My buddy at work put a blown 302 carb into a 65. I know he had to lower the engine to get it to fit as the blower is a top mount type.

    A few simple questions...

    I'd suggest a manuel rack for the steering. If you leave the steering pump on and just take it out of the loop, it will be a bear to turn... I've done it.

    Tranny fluid leaking at the speedo cable connection on tranny.

    Definitely check that o-ring. From where is it dripping? Right below the speedo sensor or below the rear seal? For the oil pan bolt, I have a thick plasitc/rubber washer. You're the first peep I've seen with an actual trader rating.

    He's most definitely kidding, if you really want to know what it will feel like... launch from a red light with it turned on, then launch with it turned off. That's exactly what you will gain.

    Yeah, you can definitely use it with those heads and springs. I'd go with 1.7 r/r, but thats just my personal preference.

    Intake is ON... Now just troubleshooting.. Please Help!!!

    If it runs, I'd say drive it around the block a few (30 miles or so) to let the compu adjust to everything... Since you pretty much have new everything, (heads, intake, etc.) I'd consider getting a chipped burned (unless you're going blown soon then I'd wait for that)

    Man, now you got me interested. I just helped my friend swap his auto '93 to a 5 speed and I don't recall seeing that hog. You could take a DMM and start continuity testing some wires. Should be able to follow it in the right directions.

    If the stuff is in nice condition (i.e. not ding and dented too bad, and the mufflers are not scrapped through on the bottom, and nothing rattles in the mufflers), seems reasonable. The h-pipe new would run about that much. Plus, since it's your friend, you can yell at him later if he gave you...

    MT '90 lx was measured to be 1.3" exactly. A lot of people just use the 1 5/16" as it is 1.3125". Autozone/Checker may, may not list the 1.3" size or even the 1 5/16" size for a mustang. I had to specifically ask for 1 5/16". But you should definitely measure it before you go. If you don't...

    Replacing/Fixing air bag... is it possible?

    If you buy a steering wheel off of ebay that already has the airbag in it, then it should be just a matter of bolting on and hooking up the new steering. ("should be" as in I've never done it, nor don't know anyone who has.)
