    Prices & Options? Here's your Stink'in Prices & Options

I am not a Mitsu salesman. You guys just wont believe how happy I am with this little car. And yes, you can order the car with a low wing, a high wing, or no wing. Let's stay on the topic; Mustang :D

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution; Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year 2004. Check the link here for how this car takes BMW M3 and Audi S4 and is almost par with Porsche 911 C4S (keep in mind that it was 95F on the test day and everybody else also did a much slower time)...

    2005 Mustang....good for Chevrolet?

Actually, Ford does offer that kind of upscale coupe; they call it Jaguar XK series ;)

    IRS poll

Good choice :nice: . That will do you a real good. Talking here too much won't do you a real good. All of us have never driven the new Stang, anyway. We only speculate. While love for the Mustang is good, overzealousness simply bugs me. It just irritates me when someone just states that...

    IRS poll

I've made some observation here. I think we could roughly classify 3 different groups here. 1) Hardcore drag racers 2) People who want to get a bang-for-the-bucks performance car. No brand attachment and will just see what the market has to offer. 3) People who just want to get, well, a...

I am the devil's advocate and I urge you to test drive Mitsu Evo and Subaru STi. Before you say anything about them, just go to your local dealers and drive those cars. If you never drive them, you can't judge them. Then, we'll talk :flame:. 350Z is not even close. I love Mustangs, but...

    Prices & Options? Here's your Stink'in Prices & Options

Buying high performance car in the first year of production = a disaster :nonono: You'd be surprised to see the recall record for BMW's ///M series, MB's ////AMG, and Audi S series. 2000 M5 needed new piston rings (and possibling pistons) 2001 M3 needed new con rods. I heard couple of...

351CJ, I never buy a first year production, anyway. Leave alone the first month :). I keep my fingers crossed hoping that they'll do the Cobra right. I have a Boss 302 clone heressy ready in my mind :).

    Prices & Options? Here's your Stink'in Prices & Options

I think I am in trouble. :( I am looking at a good looking coupe closed to 30 grand, with solid axle, that runs high 13s. My daily driver can do better at the same price with 4 doors and a real trunk  :notnice: . I am skipping a year and waiting for the Cobra. Most of the...

    The Complaint Department

The M3 is simply out of this league. You can't compare it to the current GT. Sorry. I could suggest coulple of solutions for you. First, a domestic solution. There is always the Pontiac GTO (not recommended). If you insist on going on European without breaking your bank account, there is...

    2005 Mustang....good for Chevrolet?

Stay away from Mercedes-Benz dealers then. The high horsepower German dames will leave you broke :nonono:

    2005 Mustang....good for Chevrolet?

I do want to see a faster, harder Mustang. I really think that they do the styling right. Now I want to see a performer car. I still keep one slot open for the next gen Stang. If they do things right, I am going to get an '06 model in a V8 variant (I prefer to skip the first year) in blue...

    2005 Mustang....good for Chevrolet?

Competition is the very heart of America. Without free enterprise, this country will not be in this condition right now. The winner takes it all. Camaro/Trans Am died, Mustang lives. The 60's cars are good; I love them. However, modern cars perform better than them (accelates, brakes...

Honesty, dumb question? RX8 or new Stang?

I think you should do a list and test drive the car one by one. Then, you can let us know about your impressions here :). I tested drive a lot of cars before I decided to buy the Evo. My list include (but not all): 1) Subaru WRX STi 2) Mazda RX8 3) Mazdaspeed Protege 4) Volvo S60R 5)...

Honesty, dumb question? RX8 or new Stang?

Mr Q: Do you want a 1/4 mile car or a track car. Maybe I should put it this way: do you want a car that is fast off the line or a car that handles extremely well?

Honesty, dumb question? RX8 or new Stang?

RX8 is not that fast. I test drove it and wasn't impressed. Styling is very subjective. However, you must be crazy not test driving those 2 aforementioned cars if you are really into performance. :(

Honesty, dumb question? RX8 or new Stang?

If you are considering Japanese cars. Why don't you test drive the Lancer Evo and WRX STi? If you think that RX8 handles like on rail, the Evo is gonna blow all of your expectations :).

    2005 Mustang....good for Chevrolet?

Let's hope everyone is doing their proper job: Mustang engineers doing the setup "right", Ford financial/sales people keep bitchin' about keeping the price down, and WE keep bitchin' about getting the car the best with the cheapest price :D.
