Funky looking center, but overall I give it a :nice:

drop in a v8, supercharge, or buy a gt?

I'd say supercharge, but then if you catch the mod bug, you might wish you had just gotten the V8. If you're willing to do the work, then go for the V8 swap.

    Finally figured it out...

Of course. I forgot how retro designs have so much staying power in the market.

    Finally figured it out...

Yeah, I'm a really nit-picky car fan. That's what drew me to Mustangs in the first place. I have trouble finding any fault in the design of the classics. The hockey scoops aren't enough to kill the look for me. I still don't like the car as a whole, but I guess they'll grow on me eventually...

    Finally figured it out...

Nah, actually, I think all of Toyota's cars are ugly. The Camry and Corolla even manage to pull it off, despite their blandness. They all just seem out of proportion. The only one I actually like is the Tacoma.

    Heh. that's definitely understandable.

Care to explain that smirk? Compare the new Mustang to a Matrix.

    Finally figured it out...

I now know why I hate the side scoops on the S197 so much. I like that they're not so crazy and tacky like the 99-04's but still something didn't sit right with me. Then I took a good look at Toyota's lineup. The hockey stick scoops on the Mustangs look a helluva lot like the little...

    mustang on wet road condition

    Occasionally, but I wouldn't call that a problem ;)

    Stangnet gone carbon-fiber?

Don't forget Jaguar and Volvo! They have R designations for their performance models, and we all know how ricey they are! Carbon fiber isn't really that bad. At least when unpainted, it has an interesting shine to it, even if it is tacky. Now when kids paint their hoods flat black to...

    2005 stang and RX8

2000 DTS = Cadillac Deville The RX-8 and Stang both have pretty pronounced fenderwells, door handles and wheels are also similar, and that's about it.

    My Problem With V8s

Dude, your car IS SLOW. Honestly, I don't know why you keep it. Why don't you let me take it off your hands, so you can get something really fast?

    Pro/Cons of a 94-95' V6?

Pros of 94-95 V6: Cheap, attractive, available in Teal, decent gas mileage, lower insurance rates. Cons: Slow, uncomfortable seats, usually no CD player, reliability issues, ugly taillights and wheels (seriously, wtf was Ford thinking? Three spokes?!) useless cupholder, although the Fox...

I didn't know we bought our cars from the Chinese...

    2006 GT500 Mustang

Bah, don't listen to anything dealers say. One time I was drooling over a gorgeous torch red 03 Mach 1, and he was trying to sell it to me (yeah, like that was gonna happen) by telling me all about the memories he made driving around in his 68 Boss 302. What a moron. :nonono:

Proof That GM is losing customers

Z28x, I sure hope you're right. I figured that's what GM would do, but the outright denial from Lutz was pretty disheartening. Long live the American pony car. :flag: Edit: :canflag:

    Turbo V-6

There's just something about the rumble of a V8 that makes me think "American" more than anything else. Since the Mustang is one of the most distinctly American cars out there, it's just a perfect fit. Of course, if it could get some sick numbers like a Grand National, I'm sure plenty of...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

AWD on a pickup is a good idea, since most people get them for snow and other inclement weather, not for off-roading, and 4WD isn't meant for highway driving. I didn't mean it wasn't a good truck; it's just been a failure in the business sense. It hasn't been received warmly, not even by GM...
