    popping under hard accelleration?

Yes, I think it most definetely has to do with the stock computer trying to run a motor that makes 2.5 times as much horsepower as originally designed for. Think about all the variables, suck as stroke and air volumes that are litterally "off the chart" different than your old motor. That...

    5.0 help

Just to waste bandwith. That is probably normal for our cars. Stock heads/cam/intake cars should be shifted about 5200 rpm for maximum acceleration. Redline is out of the question, don't even try to do it. Ah...........I remember when I thought redline meant "shiftpoint".

    popping under hard accelleration?

Will you get this thing running right soon please? You're scaring me away from building a new motor. :)

    Transmission Cooler For Manual Trannys?

I was wondering the same thing a couple of months ago, but I never got around to researching it. I imagine we would have to rig up some kind of pump to run the fluid through the cooler. My T5 was making a lot of heat when I was driving the mustang recently. The 4 catalytic converters don't...

    331/347 With NOS...Anyone?

I'm doing the exact same thing except mine will be a 357 and I won't have long tubes at first. I have some shorty swap headers already purchased. I'll upgrade to a full 3" exhaust and kooks headers once I get the car running good.

    331/347 With NOS...Anyone?

You don't need lower compression. Just retard your timing a bit and let it rip. I also think you're not supposed to have a lot of heat built up in your motor. Make sure you have enough fuel, a fuel pressure safety switch and forged rods and pistons.

Please post up or send me pictures when you can. I'm trying to decide on an underhood color scheme and I can't decide if I want to go all polished/chrome or mix in some black parts as well.

    Civic 2006

The concept Civic looks nice, the production one looks too plain. Of course, what's under the hood and the suspension will matter the most. I love my '93 hatchback Civic. Very fun to drive, economical and it has tons of interior room. I'm slowly fixing it up to "like new" status with...

okay...well I think im gonna go for it AND CHOP MY SPRINGS!

If I understand it correctly, cutting any spring, regardless of progressive or linear rate will increase it's spring rate. Unless you're cutting off a dead coil of course....
