    I just watched bird dog's video on timing setting. Gotta say, I'm still a little confused because there are several areas with timing input. I want my base mechanical timing set at 10 degrees. So I set the offset to 10 degrees, correct? Then use the light to set the mechanical to 10 degrees...

    I've been having distributor gear wear issues so I pull my distributor to check on it. I did it for the first time on Friday, I wasn't sure how to correctly set timing so I just changed it to fixed so I could get a correct mechanical reading. I didn't pay attention to TS to see if it matched...

    I don't, but it should be available at latemodelrestoration.com and the like. It is factory, but I added more to the face because the hub is smaller in diameter than the back side of the airbag wheel.

    The hub had the same shape as the shaft, so it was as simple as placing it on and then tightening the bolt. Then the small piece of the quick release is bolted to the hub, and the larger is bolted to the steering wheel.

    I have an nrg quick release but I use a momo hub. I've heard people having difficulty with other hubs but in my case, the momo was pretty straight forward.

    For me, not very well. They do in 3rd. My buddy with an 03 cobra with just over 500whp has 305 r888's and says he has no problems with traction in 2nd, though. :shrug:

    Thanks a lot everyone, I really appreciate it. As much as I'd like to be able to tune myself, I didn't want to self-learn and potentially mess something up, so I left the tuning to a professional. I do read that thread though so I can understand some things and have an idea of what's going on.
