    How far to lower my car?

    Looks like the 1.5" drop of the Eibach prokit. Could also be H&R sports which give a 1.6" back & 1.5" front drop.

    Gears?? Long tube headers or shorties??

    The Kenne Bell web site claims there tests yield no gain (and in fact some losses) in HP with LT of shortie headers used in conjuncton with there S/C. Might be best to use the money for cat backs/gears/short shifter or things like a new MAF or throttle body to compliment the future S/C.

    What should I ask for my car?

    :stupid: The book prices on used cars have been worthless for the last two years with all of the rebates and deals on the new cars. Why would anyone pay $11,000 for a high mileage 2001 when you can buy a brand new 2004 (6 cyl)for less than $14,000?

    3.73 gear installation

    I bought the FRRP gears and they came with everything needed for my install (crush sleeves etc). If you have low miles on the car you should be in the same situation if you purchased Ford racing gears.

    Get a good free flowing filter (K&N - Amsoil etc.) and hold on to the rest for some meaningful mods.

    hood scoop difference

    I don't think there is any difference but they can be a PITA to get flat to the hood forward of and around the honeycomb grill. I took mine off to paint the Hood scoop flat black and had all kinds of grief getting it back on flat. It seems to ride on the grill part not allowing it to lay flat...

    Useless suspension mods???

    90 percent chance you will not need CC plates with the H&R sport springs. They only lower the car 1.6" front & 1.5" rear. If you went with the super sport springs with the additional drop it would be much more liklely you would need them.

    Go to www.mustangtuning.com they have a chin spoiler kit for the 94-98 Mustang. Easy install 1 hour or less.

    Unless you have future needs for the chip have T&J Performance reflash your ECU for $100.

    $155 for the gears/$200-300 for the install and $100 to have the computer reflashed. Call it $500 in round numbers with everything unless you do the chip.

    New magnaflows finally... quite an ordeal

    Paid $75 to a local muffler shop. The job was done perfectly in just under an hour. Even if I were capable of doing it and had the right tools etc. it wouldn't have been worth it.

    Anything over 1.5" drop runs the risk of needing CC plates if you can't get a good alignment. Also you could have problems with the stock shocks especially over a l.5" drop. If $ is a problem for CC plates & adjustable gas shocks you might want to consider the H&R sports (1.6 front/1.5 rear...
