Looking for a good parts source

I ordered all of the interior stuff last week from NPD for our 67 FB, and everything looks real good. Most of it was the TMI brand which i hear is the best. I've ordered from them many times and had no problems, and the guys on the phone seem to know what they are doing.

    $200 X-Pipe

The best for the money is UPR or one similar to it. The BBK one you're looking at doesn't sound that good according to many people who have heard it.

any one here ever use super tech oils ?

That's about the cheapest oil you can get. I might use it in an old beater, but I wouldn't use it in a good car. Use an oil with a good name.

This one came from the archives.

What do people think of the UPR x-pipe

Other than some fitment issues while installing it, i'd say it's alright.

01 GT Broke Down This Morning

Take the IAC off and spray it with carb cleaner. After it's cleaned, spray some WD40 in it. That should fix it. The check engine light only came on because the car died and the key is in the 'on' position. It isn't related to this problem.

    Hooker Headers, good/bad/ugly

I've got some pictures. This is on a 67' Fastback with a 289 and a Toploader. I didn't take pictures with a can but i measured the lowest point which happened to be the collector flange at 7". There's no interior in the car, but i doubt that will drop it too much more if it was in there...

My TT stang dyno. 550RWHP...STOCK shortblock! *VID*

Very nice! Your car is THE CAR I like to keep track of on here. If you ever decide to get a built shortblock for it, see how long the stock one will last around 600 rwhp for the fun of it. Keep up the good work.

    Maf clean ?

You can remove those tamperproof bolts with needle-nose pliers if you don't want to buy the torx bit. You need to take it out to clean it.

Nither blinker will work after shredding fanbelt

You know where the emergency light button is on top of the steering wheel column. Dust collects in large amounts around the button in the hole. You can vacuum it out of blow it out. My signal quit working one time and that fixed the problem.

Nither blinker will work after shredding fanbelt

We don't have belt driven fans. The only thing i know is that it could be real dusty in the hole where the hazard light button is. Blow all of the dirt out and then try it. It happened to me once.

Drove an 07 GT, not impressed?

The S197's are much more refined than any Mustang ever built. That makes them feel slower. The are faster than what it feels like. My dad's doesn't feel any faster than mine (it actually feels slower), but it really is faster. At 90, it feels like you're going ~60. The MPH's also climb...

Professional Products intake plennum vs. Accufab...

I should have bet money on this one. How did i not know you would say something about my post. I've had a lot of bad luck with the things they make and i know I'm not the only one. I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for." You know there's a difference in the quality with that big a...

Professional Products intake plennum vs. Accufab...

Power wise, they're all about the same. It all depends on if you want something that was made in CHINA installed on your car. There's no way i would put CHINA stuff on my car if i don't have to even if it costs twice as much. Also, look a little harder and you will see that you can get the...
