    Powerhouse Turbo Installed!!!!

You can fix the speedo with a tuner (Daiblo or XCAL) by programming the gear ratio.

    13.08@105MPH w/8.5lbs on a AT V6

Awesome, man! I had a feeling that you would edge SRMING out of the top spot this weekend!! Seeing that GT really hits home how much dragsters put on the line a 1/4 mile at a time... Congratulations, Todd, i know how hard you worked for that 13.08, and know that you will have to add a...

This just in.... Evan Smith runs a 12.25 @ 117.18

I see your point, man, I was just thinking (hoping) that the car would perform better stock.

Awesome!! You will be in the top slot very soon. Next weekend, perhaps?

This just in.... Evan Smith runs a 12.25 @ 117.18

Should you really have to mod this car for it to perform? Isn't the point of this car in particluar to perform right out of the box? Aren't heavily modded GTs without FI performing that well or better? Shouldn't this car be able to beat an 05 V6 with a turbo? (Powerhouse has one that...

    what intake and tuner?

If possible, get a dyno tune from a local shop. If not, I have heard very good things about Lidio and Doug, although I have not personally used their services. But I do use Powerhouse, so I can speak from personal experience. The Pipeline from Powerhouse is awesome!! And if it is...

'04, '05-'06 GT - deciding between the two.

I have a V6 and I love it. I loved it stock, loved it modded, and love it with a turbo. It now performs and sounds exactly like I want it to (although I may up the boost next year) for a price I could live with. I have a manual, and it was fun to drive stock, but I drove crap cars before that...

    Tuning products

For a power adder I would have it professionally tuned. But they will load the tune to the XCAL. Go to the XCAL website, as more than just air/fuel, spark can be adjusted.

    Hesitation on Takeoff

There is throttle delay without a tuner. If you have a 5 speed, it is not as noticeable from a take-off. Do you have traction control? This can affect a hard launch, actually causing the car to shudder. Turn off the TCS, gun it from a stop, and see what happens (besides a one wheel burn out if...

    New pics of The Mistress

Your car should be renamed The Beast... I love the little subtle touches as much as the more blatant ones. A very well put together and thought out car, John, congratulations!! Question on the rear window louvers. How do they affect visibility when combined with the quarter louvers? Can you...

    My 05 V6 with a Vortech....

Awesome video, man! And I love that A/F gauge!! 4th gear is wicked with boost!!! Surprised a Porsche with it on the way home from Powerhouse.... What is the third gauge for?

Can anyone give me a list of bolt ons?

You are right about that! I have the 3.73s and I scream through 1st in no time flat!! I had to set my rev limiter to avoid popping a piston!! Not sure if it would happen, but wanted to be safe!

Can anyone give me a list of bolt ons?

Sure, tell me now after I spend a half hour posting!!!!

Can anyone give me a list of bolt ons?

This is what I had on mine before I went to the Turbo: MMR Intake w/ Hi-Flow Tube: A good but overpriced piece of gear. I believe the C&L has dyno'd better gains and is cheaper. SCT XCAL2 93 Octane Tune: Going from an 87 Octane tune to a 93 Octane Tune netted me 6 RWHP and 9 RWTQ...

Any 2006 v6 turbo systems out there?

Worse. You have to run the car richer with the turbo, so you use more fuel. I don't really drive the car much differently, I have always pretty much kept my foot in her. The difference is not that dramatic, maybe a few MPGs, definitely worth the experience of having the turbo kick in and slam...

Any 2006 v6 turbo systems out there?

It depends how you drive. I can still get great gas mileage on the highway if I am cruising along around 65-70. In that case it is around 28-30 MPG.

    Live and learn

Yes, you sure did punish your baby, didn't you? I think I will be okay with my TT and girdle, but I have heard the same recommendation (going to an 8.8 for serious power) from a few shop owners now. I think I will be okay with my set-up.

    Live and learn

Good advice! I had to take off my LT Headers and Prochamber when I went to a Turbo system. They are for sale in the Classifieds section. I did stay with the 7.5, but added a Detroit TrueTrac and a Girdle. I am hoping that can withstand any abuse I throw its way. However, an 8.8 is a very wise...
