    it's held on at both ends by some sort of clips. The outer tie rod end is what you saw and is easily removed with pliers, the other is held on by some sort of metal clamp. You just get a screwdriver and pop it off. If you're careful you may be able to reuse it, but I wouldn't count on it. Head...

    You have to take off the outer tie rod which is shown as the separate piece. Count the amount of threads, and try to replicate it when you put it on your new tie rod.

    3 and 7 are the same thing, except the 7 piece kit is counting the included hardware. Buy the 3 and reuse your factory hardware, even though my 3 piece included the screws and torx bit needed.

    not really crooked but not level. lol try heating it and taking it off. thats why youre supposed to use soapy water so you can adjust it before it sets.
