    I've heard of a 64.5, but a 66.5?

Yeah, I was calling BS from the start, just wanted to get some classic guys to back me up :nice: And I've always known the first model year was 65, but always called the first model a 64.5 because that's what most people recognize as the first mustang. Thanks for the confirmation... Nice...

Brake pedal slowly goes to floor while at light after 5 lug conversion

A bad MC won't usually leak fluid, it's an internal leak allowing fluid to pass by the piston inside causing the pedal to drop without loosing any fluid. I'm 99.9% sure you got a bad MC.

    I've heard of a 64.5, but a 66.5?

A Friend of mine was telling me the other day that there is a 66.5 mustang that was only made for 6 months. They said the difference is the seats are branded with a hot iron. Anybody know if this is true or not?

You're not wrong, the booster is how hard the pedal is to push, but hard or soft, it will still hit a point where you just can't push it down anymore. It sounds like you got a bad mc if it slowly goes down once you're stopped.

Wrong speedo gear? Manual, AOD different?

The one on the left looks correct for a fox body manual trans, what year car is this going in? And yes, AOD is different from 5-speed. The AOD alignment shaft on the end is about 1/2 inch longer (the top in your pic).

    Problems after T5 Swap

Did you double check all the harnesses to the steering column? Might not have the ignition harness pluged all the way back in after dropping the column for the pedal swap.

    Tranny/clutch issues

What clutch did you get? All the ones I've seen come with a throwout bearing. Always change the TOB when replacing a clutch. From what you're describing that is probably the solution.

What is Torque, whats the difference between that and HP?

I always tell people "hp is speed, torque is how quickly you get to speed".

    T5 knocking....

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/817496-new-mounts-wow-what-difference.html Looks like new mounts solved most of the problems. Did that also fix the tailshaft movement?

    Faux lug 10th anniversary wheels

Nice! What's it cost to get wheels narrowed? You could make that seatbelt look nicer with a cigarette lighter. Love the engine bay.

    Another "Will this work?" thread

That answers my question, just not the one I wanted to hear :D I thought some things were different just based on a quick look under the truck. But I was pretty sure I heard somewhere they were the same. Looks like I'll be rebuilding my current one.

Thanks, know where I can find the same thing for S-10's?

    Another "Will this work?" thread

Yeah, a rebuild kit is about 130.00 through my guy here and he's not charging any labor, but it also needs gears at about $100 each and a few other things not included in the kit.

    Another "Will this work?" thread

No it's not. But I think I know your next question. I really don't want to wait and spend the money for a new one when I can get good as new with a rebuilt, the question is just which one to rebuild the s-10 or the one I just pulled. The S-10 would just be syncro's and bearings and such...

Need sugestions on how to srtip front bumper cover.

I think he just wants to remove the paint, not the whole bumper :D 100-200 grit sand paper and and orbital sander to remove the paint, then atleast 400 to take the scratches out.

I Finally Put the Rearend Back In My Car

Yeah, that's going to take some adjustment to get it back down out of the clouds. It's not going to settle 3 inches. It should center itself front to back once you get the ride height corrected. Nice wheels!

5.0 at the Shop - am I being Had?

Personally I think the starter is the biggest PITA. As far as the OP, 1600-1700 is a fair price for the work you're having done at a shop. Since you don't have much wrench time yourself, it's worth taking it to a shop instead of doing it wrong and costing you even more money and not have...

    Another "Will this work?" thread

I already destroyed my t-5 after the swap... I didn't replace the input shaft bearing and it chewed up 1st, 2nd and reverse. Anyway, I can buy a jy trans for $500 which is obviously used, or have a buddy that works at a trans shop rebuild mine for around $600 in parts, but I don't really have...
