    You shouldnt eliminate the GT from your list of choices too fast. It is a very comparable car to the Ls1 Camaro. My wife has a 98 Z28 and I'll admit it has some serious pull, but my 01 GT isnt that far behind. They are both very nice choices and will get you comparable insurance rates...

    Yeah, theyre much closer to the 260 mark than 305. Ive heard they are pretty damn close as far as 1/4mile times.

    Yeah, varies from company to company. My claim with Wawanesa Ins. wrote a check to me directly whereas a friend of mine's insurace sent it directly to the repair shop.

    Thanks for the help. I think I'll start by taking it to a mechanic. As far as the TSB, I'll have to look into that a little more first. I'll avoid fixing it if possible. :)

    Yikes! I hope thats not the cause of the noise in my car. What did it run you to fix? Yeah, mines a '99. Ive noticed that the noise can occur at any engine temperature and also only when Im pressing the gas. How much did your fix cost?

    Is it when the engine is cold? If so, Ive got the same thing except I'd describe it more like a cricket. It sounds like a high pitched click.
