    The Ring Brothers don't try to make their cars unrecognizable. That's the beauty of their art -- the bodies are heavily modified and often re-proportioned but the end result is still very recognizable as a classic Mustang.

    Sounds to me like you're sucking air back into the front circuit somewhere, probably pretty close to the master cylinder. Go through all of the connections again. Are you sure there's not a leak somewhere? Usually air in = fluid out as well... Not sure what you mean about the first hole...

    K.A.R. has the cowl hoods now as well. They usually have them on eBay (seller karmustang) but I think someone hit the BIN on the cowl one. I'm sure there will be another up there w/in a couple of days. The reason I bring it up is that there will be detailed pics there of the hood and its fitment.

    That is mostly correct, except for the non-Mustang part. I'm fairly certain the 9" housing I used is a Mustang unit and the jig wasn't quite right. I think Blue Oval Man's other housing was an original Mustang unit as well. I'd rephrase that as "...adding a slot between the two pinion-offset...

    I did both an 8" and a 9". I knew the fixture wouldn't work with the 8" (well, it wouldn't bolt on -- it still worked fine for locating the brackets when clamped on) but I had the exact same experience as Blue Oval Man with the 9".
