    Rim/tires advise

    I have the deep dish bullets adn use 255/45/17 in the front and 285/40/17 in the back. I use Kumhos (712's). The only other option is 315's and they are very expensive save the Sumitomo HTRZ which I think is $150, but not a great tire.

    I am putting down 350+ rwhp and have the 712's. I have no problems with these tires. I do have 285/40's so that may help. When I was n/a, I cut 2.0's with them all day long and I was still learning to drive.

    NO! You should be fine. Just make sure that when the Pred tune is installed that you have the high octane running. Or, have added some octane boost. And, listen for knock or pinging. I gyou get any, then put the stock tune back on.

    I have 15k on my kumhos and will probably see 20 -22k miles. First time EVER going to the track, I clicked off five 2.0's with them. I have no complaints.

    I have the 712's in 285/40/17. I really like them. I have no experience witht he MX, but I do plan to buy them for the rear in the Spring. They are supposed to be better than the 712's.
