    Cobra R rotors warped

First, all brake rotors will warp, crack, become unusable etc. at some point when they put into extreme temperature ranges. Driving at the limit on a road course will do this. Driving the streets won't. You're just gonna have to used to the fact that when you drive your car hard, rotors are a...

Looking to buy KYB AGX's. Thoughts.

Thanks for clearing that up 007. I was under the impression that Stangyellow had the special ford struts that control ride height.

    Panhard bar problems

I was in the same boat with my magnaflow tailpipes. I got lucky and found a custom shop that was willing to make me a set of stainless tailpipes that would fit everything. Pics, writeup etc. http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=625462&highlight=PHB+exhaust+solution Good luck with...

    Coilovers on Daily Driver?

+1 to bilsteins from MM. However, I must add that you may need to wait a while to get the kit. There's been a new advancement in strut mounting ear design going on at MM; (you can read more at CC) to spare the gruesomely long details, you want the new mounting design. Call MM and ask how...

Bushings, Ball Joints, and Bumpsteer, Oh My!

Another Perspective As far as your question about their behavior goes, my experience has been great with their tech help. A couple times I've approached with "the next step" that I wanted to take with the car where some of the components that I decided were best for my setup were not going...

    Maximum Motorsports front coilover kit?

I may have been lucky, but I didn't have to trim anywhere in the fenderwell. I still have full freedom of steering movement from lock to lock through the full range of suspension compression. Enjoy.

    MRT Catted H-pipe / Magnaflow Install ?

I put the mrt catted h on my mach I along with the magnapack catback. You don't need to really worry about welding the catback yet, especially if you plan on doing any major rear suspension work. The leak you describe is definitely for real, mine was pretty loud on the low end when I first...

    EvM trilink

On my first drive after completing the install, it sounded like the link was flopping around under there. It was so loud, I was scared that I had screwed it up. After I put the back seat back in, it quieted down much more than I had anticipated a back seat could do. As much of a difference as...

    EvM trilink

I can really feel for you. I installed this thing in the driveway under similar conditions as you. That bushing removal is more tedious than anything that I've ever done. I didn't have a torch, so I had to drill the rubber out, which took forever because as the rubber heats up, the bit slips...

    E Brake??

I'm not so sure that the diameter of the rotor contributes as much to the mustang's inablilty to lock the rear wheels as do other factors. Both my Mach and Cobra won't lock with the hand brake, and they have a larger rear disk. Also, my dad's Altima will lock without much effort at all, and it...

    Need help with Bilstein part#

I agree. It seems like the latest fad on this forum is for everyone to go get a bumpsteer kit. I guess it could be that I am one of the only ones without a bumpsteer problem; more likely, I'm guessing that people are trying to fix something thats not broken.

    Handling Question

I understand the experience of "skipping" of the rear of the stock suspension that you are describing. However, I believe that to think this skipping gives you more traction in wet conditions during mid-turn is a fallacy. Here's why I think this, but jump in and correct me where I am wrong...

    Handling Question

Could you explain what you mean by this comment a little further? It seems to me that if a laterally located rear is going to slide under certain road conditions, then there would be no reason to expect a loose rear that has greater bind in the suspension will keep its grip, all else held equal.

    mid-pipe question

You've already noticed the only difference. There's an easy fix for that: just have him buy some O2 sensor wire extensions and there won't be any problems getting it to fit. It's not a big deal at all.
