So far there has been no correction and plenty of reputable sources (MSN, Card & Driver) have been quoting the under 20K V8 speech. You would think if it were such a huge mistake there would be a retraction of some sort. Even though it's still speculation one still wonders why Ford hasn't...
Who knows with its all new chasis...but if I had to guess, judging by the HP, weight, and gearing I would probably say mid [email protected] would still be considerably slower than the LS1s.
My cousin's STOCK LS1 trapped @107mph :nonono:
That has to be the poorest time I've ever seen for an 03 Cobra. However even with that horrible time it still managed to be 9 mph faster than the WRX, so obviously you can see how the WRX would run out of steam on a real world highway race. I would love to see a 60-150mph roll between the two...

Try that link. I can actually see Ford doing a $20,000 V8. Figure the GT hardtop will sticker for what, $25,000 - $26,000? Now, my 89 LX V8 stickered for $10,000 back in it's day and actually has every option...
I think the basic point he's trying to get across is that it shouldnt cost more to use the T56...especially since GM was able to offer a 23K Z28 with a 6 speed. Another thing is the T650 isn't the strongest of all trannies. I've seen people grenade them with mild boost and juice.
About the...
I agree with the first two posts. About 6K seems about right for a 100K, decent interior, ok paint Cobra. I would probably 8-9K for a 40-50K mile mint one though. It really depends what the car is worth to you. Theyre not really worth that much in KBB yet some clowns try to fetch 11+K for them.
I definitely can't wait for the 05 stang to come out. I'm not going to buy it though, I figure the 03/04 Cobras will be ridiculousy cheap by then. I'm already starting to see them go for 26K!!!
03/04 Cobra for me in 2005!! :flag:
I just started my car up and it stalled. When I turned the key again I noticed I was only getting like 13 PSI of fuel pressure (very weak) So I went to the trunk and pushed the fuel cut off switch in the back. Went back into the car, turned the key and it primed up to 50 PSI (as normal) and...
