How much would a shop charge to install heads?

Holy moly, you guys are paying a fortune to do a head swap. It's honestly not that hard, especially for a mustang speciality shop..Around here you can get it done for $500 or so (which is still too much IMO)

    after market steering wheel?

The wheel looks OK in that second pic, still a little off imo. Maybe Im just too anal. The only suggestion I would make is it to paint the steering wheel collar to match.

    after market steering wheel?

I was interested in this wheel as well, however it only looks good in the newer charcoal interior (not a true black)

Anyone have FRPP M5230M51 cat-back installed?

Yeah but it has the ricey tips, they look good on a 99-up but Im not too crazy about them on a SN95 or fox. Now if they had the angle cut tips like oem, flomaster, mac, dynomax, bassani, etc.. then I would be all over that deal.

Anyone have FRPP M5230M51 cat-back installed?

So this is definitely better than a stock system, right? I wonder how much less HP this kit makes compared to the traditional flowmasters/mac mufflers..

Is this what I use to flush my coolant?

Whats wrong with that? You actually splice it into your heater hose.

17x9 FMS Cobra Rs and Tires. What are they worth??

According to your link I was correct, they are $175 a wheel. Actually how does $149 a wheel sound for BRAND NEW REAL Cobra Rs? http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=281 I'm not trying to be an ass like some others in this thread...just trying to be the realist...

17x9 FMS Cobra Rs and Tires. What are they worth??

Well figure a brand new set goes for $560 and usually when I sell stuff I always sell for 50% of what I payed for it, but you have decent tires...So I would say 500-600. $800-900 seems a bit too optimistic IMO.

    Got beat by a 03 Mach1....WTF???

While I agree, Mach 1s are no slouch.....I absolutely MURDER then at the track with my stock engine Vortech GT. Something is not right with your car.

Is an aluminum driveshaft worth it?

An aluminum DS cured my high speed vibration problem. I chalked it up to new u-joints though which can be had for like 8 bucks each. It's good to loose rotational mass weight though. On top of that it comes new with ujoints and balanced. As for clearance issuse I had the ebrake bracket...

The Most Beautiful Cobra in Existance???

Totally not worth it, and just like a previous poster said...does the extra 15k justify it's "rareness"?? Maybe if it was a Cobra R, but not a hardtop Cobra vert. This isn't a Shelby that we're talking about here... Heck that's 1995 Cobra R, S351, 03/04 Cobra, 03/04 Mach 1 and even used 05...

    H/C/I vs. Supercharging

Never had it dyno-tuned so I don't really know. Just to get an idea, I beat my cousin's C5 vette with CAI, Pulleys, Cat-Back and I've turned 109mph in the 1/4. That same night my cousin's vette turned 104mph.

    H/C/I vs. Supercharging

My vote is for the supercharger (for lower mileage engines)...I'm faster than all my friends with HCI and my idle is rock solid. If you're looking to rebuild your engine due to miles/age then I would do HCI first.

    thumper E7 vs GT40p

My advice is to just wait and save up for a better head. Most people on here will NOT sell you a decent set of GT40s for cheap. You will end up spending plenty of $$$ and by that time you will be in aluminum head territory...not worth it for a used rebuilt head.
