    Why should he not replace it regardless? The part is only $15, and is extremely easy to do once everything is out of the way. It would suck to keep the original rear main seal in there, then have it start to leak 10,000 miles later and destroy a brand new clutch. You would have to do the job...

    Honestly, it didnt make my car run cooler. The most noticeable difference was running the manual fan switch. That made it run nice and cool.
