    I would say mid 14s at best. The stock torque converter and weak gearing the AODE really sucks. As for launching the auto, get some sticky tires and hold the brake while giving it a little bit of gas. This is where the stock converter really holds you back though...

    I don't understand, why are red interiors so hated on foxes, yet very accepted on SN95s? I have red interior on my notchback and everybody used to give me hell for it.

    I bought an 89 LX Coupe 5.0 back in the day and the difference was like $6,000 almost!!! Base price for the LX 5.0 was $10,500 and the GT hardtops stickered for $16+ To top it off, my LX 5.0 had EVERY option the GT had on the inside!!!

    Has anyone ever been tempted? be honest....

    I admire the LS1's speed, but that's about it. The ride quality is crap, GM's build quality is by far the poorest I've seen. Theyre extremely unreliable. Besides speed, the mustang wins hands down. It's much more well balanced.

    Yeah stay away from stangparts. Some of their USED parts prices are more expensive than dealer NEW prices :notnice: Also their attitudes on the phone are horrible.

    I would also add: Clean Throttle Body w/fuel injector cleaner PCV valve Check Timing Check tire pressure Also throw in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner afterwards.

    It's a 1K difference between the TOP model V6 and BASE "LX" V8. So in reality its probably a 3K difference.

    FWIW - About 10 yrs ago, I had my 90 GT hatch and my 89 LX insured at the same time. The GT hatch was actually $500 more to insure then the LX. I remember looking at the breakdown on the screen and the GT vert was the highest to insure.

    Who have fastest 94-95 Mustang with T5 tranny

    A buddy of mine (86style) on the corral made 550+RWHP This was with a 342 DART, S-TRIMMED, AFR-185ed combo. He still had the stock T5 and ran 130+ trap speeds with it. Now that very same T5 has been in my S-Trimmed GT for the past year and putting out 12PSI and still shifts beautifully!!!
