    I got my stainless Magnaflow O/R X used with 200 miles on it for $150 shipped from eBay. The guy that sold it to me said that it was way too loud for him on his '99 Cobra. WTF was he smoking? :shrug:

    I have never owned Khumos, but if they're anything like my last set of Yokohamas, I'd say the Goodyears are better. I was able to cut 2.0 60' times with the stock Goodyears, stock gears, and stock suspension, with like 20K on the tires. I don't know why everyone says they suck so bad...

    It can't be that hard for a company as big as Trick Flow to design an aluminum intake based on the speccrapular plasitc one that Ford was so thoughtful to give us. :nonono:

    Here's one way to tell: http://www.corral.net/tech/gearcalc.html Your car most likely has one of three different ratios, assuming that the rear end is stock. 2.73 3.08 3.27 Hope this was some help.

    Not true. A limited slip axle (which I believe all GT's come with standard) uses clutches to tie the axles together and make them turn the same speed, thus also preventing them from turning the opposite way like an open diff would.

    Sorry, I've never wondered that. Probably because both of my Mustangs have had a Track Lok limited slip. Limited slip cars won't do that, unless the clutches are completely shot. :D

    That would be my guess. They have to make them quiet because 90% of them are driven by little old ladies that drive 10 under and can't see over the steering wheel. :D

    I'm not sure what ratio the overdrive gear is in an auto, but I remember that the old AOD was taller than the T-5. Either way, if it were me, 4.10's all the way! :nice:

    It won't hit the limiter unless you trap at 140+. If you could hit the limiter before the traps w/stock gears... :hail2: :hail2: :hail2: . I would leave OD off anyway, simply because leaving it in 3rd will help you engine brake after you let off the gas, instead of it upshifting and letting...

    I don't have personal experience, but I've heard that 275's on an 8" rim can lead to safety and handling issues. Just make sure you research it well before deciding. Also, if you decide on the 275's, you might want to go with Nitto's, because they are just a hair narrower than some other 275's...

    From the way I see it, yes. With the 3.27's, your top speed in 4th is right around 140 at redline, so when you shift into 5th, you bog. The 4.10's will have you further into your powerband when you shift to 5th. Top speed in 5th at redline with 4.10's will be around 162 mph. Just be careful...
