I'm not sure if I want to stroke my motor or just rebuild a solid 306/308. How long have your stokers lasted and how is the drivability? My stang is a daily driver and I still want a comfortable ride.

Could you please list your aftermarket control arms and if you are satisfied

I got the UPR Chromolly adjustable spherical bearing lowers and Mac tubular Eurathane uppers. The Upr work great but don't come with instructions or tips on where to start from to adjust them. The powder coating was pretty shoddy and chipped everywhere. You could see the metal imperfections...

    Control arm removal

Make sure you put a jack under the arm to take the spring load off of the arm. The bolts should come out nicely. Install the new arms with a good grease applied to the urathanes or you will get the skweaks not cool

    Upper Control Arms

These will work fine. The only thing you might want to do is box the arm in. Any shop can do this really cheap. Maximum Motorsports recommends them. If you don't box them no big deal. They are a good replacement.

Clean out Stock 4 Cat H-pipe

I live in CA. I cut my cats out and replaced them with straight pipe. The folds on the metal that hole the heat sheild on can be removed then welded to the replacement pipe. Looks like a cat but is straight flow. Picked up lots of power. All bolt ons can you can get, flow so much better.

    Should i get subframes?

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE SUBFRAME CONNECTORS> not bolt in, welded. You can buy the bolt ins. then bolt them in then weld them. Either way weld them. High schools and colleges always are looking for little projects like that. Talk to the instructors of the shop classes that weld.

cowl hood question/ rim + tire help

I would reccomend the Cervinis. It is a very well made hood. Check on their web site you may like the look or the 3 inch over the 4.

How do you resolve tire rubbing in the front?

I have molded the plastic with a heat gun. You may want to try this before you start choppong away at the liner. Once the plastic is warm enough use an old spoon to mold the liner or something round like that.

Another good product is Mac. I have purchased almost all of their products. They are less expensive and are a good quality part. The pro chamber makes the best hp.
