    I have Hooker aeroflow mufflers and a Bassani O/R X-pipe. It drones like crazy around 2200rpm... right around (legal) highway cruising speed with 4.10's.

    If you're serious about go fast goodies, don't only get the lightweight flywheel, get an Al driveshaft to go with it. You'll lose around 15-20lbs of rotating mass depending on the flywheel you go with. You could lose more, I think Quarter Master makes some of the lightest flywheel/clutch kits...

    Do 18" rims really slow you down?

    Don't forget that the extra unsprung weight will also affect handling and braking. Wheels are the worst place possible to add weight to the car. Not only do you add rotating mass, you add unsprung mass. Now you've lost acceleration, braking and handling! Lovely!

    Is there any LT header other than Hooker that allows you clutch access without removing the headers? If not, I'd have to say Hooker LTs and midpipe. Then take your pick for catback based on sound, they all perform close to the same.

    OK, thanks. Now two more questions. Which number on that list applies to the Cobra T56? And, how do I come up with the right number for how these gear ratios compare to my current T45? The numbers I get when I multpily the gear ratio by the final drive ratio don't seem to make sense to me.

    I'm more than happy to stick with the V8. I just wish they'd get more power out of it in stock form. There are a lot of V6's out there making close to 300hp. Ford needs to do another "PI" and push another 20-30hp out of this engine.
