    You should wait on the AC until you are ready to charge it. AC is a sterile environment, it's best to leave everything sealed until it's time to evacuate and charge it. Just leaving a fitting off will allow moisture to get into the component and start corrosion. Eric

    Nope, one fuse box, and most old cars have very few fuses. Look at your wiring diagram, the entire car is on one small page. Very simple.
