    I inspected my car on my day off, and the orange thing on the shaft (rag joint?) is no longer there. How do I go about putting one back on? Doesn't seem like I can stretch one over the bottom portion that bolts into the rack. Thanks!

    There's about a good 1-2 inches of slack in the steering wheel; meaning that i can move the steering wheel left and right, and it doesn't move the wheels. If i turn off the car, and lock the steering wheel, the slack is gone. Anyone have any ideas what to check for first? Thanks!

    03 GT steering issue

    the slop would be felt in the steering wheel as well, correct? I'm able to move the steering wheel about .5-1" in both directions without it affecting the direction of the car. got a guide or anything to help with the replacement of the bearing?

    use an impact gun, or if you don't have access to one, what I did was stick a crowbar in the top slit of the strut, then had a friend use a large crescent wrench to break the nut free.

    I think you mean GT-R vspec I/II, or R31 GT-S-R? There was a 4 door Skyline, and a 2 door STi (22b).

    seat height is about the same, but I noticed the passeneger seat is where it should be, instead of feeling like you're sitting on a phone book. having huggy seats leads you to believe that your car handles better than it did before. I would be whipping it around corners, thinking I wasn't...
