    You're not the only one. Dan started a good portion of this. I read his post also and that became the straw the broke the camels back. Spending $4-6K on a blower,then worrying about everything else tapping out. The Cobra just makes more financial sense in the long term.

    Agreed. I did the tradeup also. You could leave the Cobra stock and still be miles ahead of the GT with boltons. You also gotta think about resale also. With the 05 coming out and the expected results, it kinda leaves the two-valve dead in the water without a paddle. Not saying that they're bad...

    Its a tough market right now for people looking to get out. I just did. Instead of trying to sell it privately what about the dealer. You might get hammered but the wait of trying to sell the car you might not find a Cobra in time.

    One of the main reasons why I got my new car was the fact of the possible future. After I signed the paperwork for it, the salesman told me that SVT is working on a 500hp 5.4 4valve car. The sad part is the questionable cost ie: $45K to get in.

    By odd chance does anybody have a breakdown on how many Redfire coupes were made in 04? I traded my 00GT last Sat, for the Cobra. I just wondered what I have, thanks in advance.

    Next major question would be if it did get produced, what would it cost? Looks like a hell of alot more than the standard GTO.

    But you gotta realize, There will be hopefully be hundreds of thousands of just GTs around within a few years. With every GT comes the promise of 4-valve power to the masses. Boltons, tune and blowers will make this car a killer. Ls1 guys will have to worry with the probabilty of every one...
