    V8 swap = alot more problems and alot of money He said he could get the v6 cheap so thats a nice HP bonus if you can get it really cheap, plus low miles again which is always nice.

    Depends on which year your getting, I don't think you stated it. The 99+ V6's have 190hp stock I think and the 05's stock just for your info have 210hp.

    I have a dual exhaust on my V6, it sounds great. Maybe he just modded his like crazy to get it to sound that good. Or then again, maybe he just has a really nice exhaust system.

    CAI and exhaust make car worse?

    So let me get this right. You have one muffler thats hooked to a Y pipe, then 2 pipes with 2 cats coming out? You should have the Y pipe coming out then 2 cats, then 2 mufflers coming out. Sounds like where ever you took it f'd something up.

    ebay CAI

    I got a 30 dollar one off ebay. It works great. Didn't really notice much performance wise but the little wooshing sound I get is great, looks great, and the exhaust seems like it might have just nugged up a hair in backpressure. Air coming in faster, Air going out faster, only makes sense.

    Yeah, those need to come out for sure. It looks a bit odd to have those covering the fog lights. Other than that it looks good, I like the color.

    You get what you pay for with breakpads. I think ford put motorcraft in out of the factory, probably what you should have replaced with. $30 bucks won't by front and back motorcrafts unless you are getting a REAL good deal.

    How Fast

    If you can drive you should be able to pull low 12's or high 11's I'd guess :shrug: . Probably a little better if your good. Stocks can go pull 16's or so.

    I had a problem somewhat like this. I'd start my car and if I turned my subs on, it'd hit a few times, then the cd player would just turn off and not come on again. Ended up the power or remote wire or something was wired wrong on the amp when I rechecked it. Maybe you better rewire your amp...

    I'd say you could pull 12 out of it. Thats a good low number for the miles and it's an 03 of course. With 36k on my 01 I paid just over 8, not too bad. I would think you could get 11 or 12 with the stuff. If you decide to take off those pulley's I'd be interested in them. :banana...

    I couldn't say for the 94-98 but I have an 01 I put the Mac Catback on with the Y pipe and it sounds great. Nice loud deep tone.
