    Ok stackz,if you change the harness you will need all the sensors and what not. If you use the stang harness you will only need to splice 3 vam wires into you egr and run the other vam wire to the comp. Next you will jump the premium mode wire. So in all it is about an hour worth of work...

    The only dirrerent i think is pre 87 wasnt i/c. I've got a 86 and 87 t/c and theres is no diff. in elect. except the comp. are different. Factory, ones i/c [87-88]and one[86]isnt. To get started do like i did SCREWDRIVER

    Im with urban96 if the msd is bad the car wont start. You said that you upt a U/L ported intake well that could be why the low end tq is missing. Unhook the msd and try.

    Im thinking of saleing my 86 tc. I bought the car last month from TF and had plans on moding it. Well im going to start on my 86 stang and dont have time to work on the tc. The cars got a big vam,gillis,new water pump, heater core still in box,new in box struts and shocks and new in box end link...

    have a 90 lx 2.3n/z and looking to swap to 5.0

    I did 3 of theses swaps and never changed the suspension or the brakes and the car stops and rides the same. I guess its all in how you want to drive the car. But going down the road it rides the same as my factory v-8 car did. Taking off real hard is different because the front will rise faster...
