    In regard to bikes, at the track school I attended last year we were told to completely ignore the rear brake on the track until we got other more important fundamentals down. I understand you were referring to locking one vs the other I was throwing out there what we were taught.

    Most of your braking is done with the front brakes. Having the rears lock first might work in a straight line, MIGHT.     www.mcmaster.com has something very similar to the GoodYear Insta-Grip. I couldn't find anybody that would sell less than 100ft of the GY stuff. Search for "push on hose" and look at the High pressure Buna N stuff.

    Quarter panel replacement

    I did one of my quarter skins with a repop panel from NPD. Other than them sending me the wrong panel and refusing to pay for return shipping the parts fit fine. Repop parts are hit or miss.

    One other thing to mention if I haven't already is I frequent quite a few forums most of which run Vbulletin. Stangnet is the only one the exhibits this behavior.

    Putting a modern E-brake handle in a classic Mustan

    You can add 94 and 95 into the "might work" category. I have a 95 handle mounted to the tunnel in my 68. the handle looks exactly like the 87-93 you have pictured. I am using the rearend complete with disk brakes out of the 95 so I don't know for sure if it will work for you drum brake guys.

    I wholeheartedly agree with you there. I wonder why people fall all over themselves for the little hybrid cars when you can get equal or better performance out of a VW TDI for less money. On top of that you can go to any VW dealer and drive it home NOW, no waiting.
