MagnaFlow Complete exhaust system.. any good?

Does anybody have pics of the rear exhaust hangers installed? The directions say they are supposed to attach to the rear subframe but doing that puts the pipes about this > < close to the springs.

Who makes a stainless steel exhaust kit for classic mustangs?

Well here we area year later and I finally got around to starting on the exhaust project. I picked up the Magnaflow kit a while back. Seems to be pretty nice stuff. Does anybody have pics of the rear exhaust hangers installed? The directions say they are supposed to attache to the rear...

Your money and you car do what you want but if you ask me the mod motor swap isn't worth the trouble. It is big, heavy, expensive and full of compromise. There are enough of them out there now that the "gee whiz" factor is wearing off. A well built small block (302, 331, 347, 351, 392, etc) is...

Pics of my shortened Aerostar driveshaft

We were mid 60's tuesday, I rode my motorcycle to work, and about 70 yesterday. It was sooooooooooo nice. Then this morning my truck was frozen shut  Where abouts north of Toledo? I went to engineering school at UT. I graduated from there 12/01.

No, well at least not the truck engines. They use a taller deck block.

Pics of my shortened Aerostar driveshaft

I am using a flange, from a late model mustang not the Aerostar, because the rear differential is from a 95 GT. Originally the shop was supposed to only shorten the shaft but they assembled it with new u-joints and everything. The only reason I spent so much time measuring at the parts store...

Pics of my shortened Aerostar driveshaft

Picked mine up today and it fits like a glove! I had to swap out the rear flange because the bolt pattern was different than the mustang rear I have under the car. I spent about an hour at the parts store measuring u-joints until I found 2 possibles, lucky for me one of them fit :nice: No...

Width isn't a big deal with the various kits out there. The height of the Navigator engine is the problem. That is why I don't think you will find anybody that has done it. I don't know if they are different from the early ones but check the height before you buy anything.

I am pretty sure you will need about a 12" cowl hood to fit over thething. I remember a picture on Windsor-Fox's page showing one sitting on a pallet next to a 65 or 66. The car was on its wheels and the engine was directly on a pallet so what, 4" off the ground, and the intake was still much...

    The SN65 project car

Don't forget they are a business. This car generated alot of exposure for them. Selling the car on ebay will generate even more. More power to them, good luck!

Pics of my shortened Aerostar driveshaft

Ah! I see your math now! I thought $25 sounded too cheap but figured the going rate is the going rate :) Anyway here is what I found right up the street from work for $40 and after a quick scrubbing/degreasing: I probably could've found one cheaper but this was literally less than...

Ah, I didn't realize you spun the manifold around. Much better sizes on the pics.

Some pictures of my project... The Mustang SHO

Too late now but what was wrong with the single tbody coming off the "front" of the engine? You could have done an intake similar to the late model vettes and f-bodies, forward and down.

Where are you guys getting Al shafts shortened for $25? The only place around here that I can find that will do it wants $125.00 balanced and everything. If that includes ujoints fine but if it is just welding, come on. Anybody know anyone in the Cleveland, OH area?

Interesting project. It sounds like you have it thought out. Might I suggest you resize your pictures though.

95 cobra donor...what can I use for the 65 fastback

The booster can be used if the car is an auto. If you plan on running a manual and a cable/hydraulic clutch the 95 booster is too large. A fox booster will fit and they are pretty cheap from the parts store.

95 cobra donor...what can I use for the 65 fastback

I guess I should say I only had to trim the opening so I could remove the shifter without dropping the transmission.
