    302/331/347 engine combos

I have thought about going that route. Though, I am leaning toward aluminum heads to get some weight off the front end. The car is a nose heavy pig. How streetable? Not overheating in traffic or hot days, not needing a rebuild every winter, not needing to immediately beef up the rest of the...

    302/331/347 engine combos

Let me ask it this way: Assume I stick with 302-306 cid, what would be the *best* FRPP cam/heads/tbody/maf to go with the explorer/gt40 intake I already have? Porting the intake wouldn't be a problem if necessary. How much power can I expect to make? My reasoning for trying to keep the intake...

    302/331/347 engine combos

Pokageek, Thanks for the reply. I have searched the forums quite a bit and found some good answers. I was hoping though that all the information might be compiled into one source somewhere. Any ideas of where somebody put together a best bang for your buck 302 build up?

    302/331/347 engine combos

Hello from the classic forum. I am looking for a website/book/resource that lists different EFI engine combos and their respective power numbers. I am looking for typical heads/cam/intake, etc. I have a 68 coupe with a 95 GT Engine/computer/transmission. The intake has been swapped for an...

    Painless Wiring

I would venture to guess no. It will "work" but it will not be a direct replacement. I would suggest you call Painless and ask them.

FYI - dodgestang.com will be done for a short while

Can't you register the domain with another host and upload the site? Godaddy, 1and1, or even your ISP are usually quick and easy. If you current host is that screwed up I would run as fast as you can to somebody else.

    Will these wheels tuck?

Nope, more BS, more "tuck." "Tuck" is one of those words that is trying to come over from the ricer crowd :nonono: People should be kicked in the teeth for using it.

    Will these wheels tuck?

I have to measure what is on my 68 right now but you also have to watch for interference between the arm and the wheel. My car has 17x8's on it now and they hit the arms. I do not remember the BS right off the top of my head though.

    Painless Wiring

Are you asking about the mustang specific kit, or the universal kit? Either way the painless kit does not come with the igniton switch plug. At least it did not a few months ago when I was looking for one. If you need a plug you can go two ways, buy an ignition switch that comes with one or use...

    Bullit wheel centers?

If you want the running horse they are PN M1096A and they run about $28 bucks each. I haven't seen the "GT" letters.

65 to 67 shock tower swap.

Supposedly you can fit a larger (351 and larger) engine by going this route. I supposedly because I have no first hand experience but have seen it done and that was the reasoning I was given.

My VW Passat is a Swimming Pool!

I have never been a fan of aftermarket remote starters. They don't sound very healthy after a while. Anyway you should be able to find either another grommet to run the wire through or an area that is not so exposed to water to drill and insert your own grommet.

Check out pics of my friends brand new C6 z06.,.....which was TOTALLED!!!

Are you kidding, Please tell me you are kidding. I think I would call the damage pretty severe. My WAG would be that the drivers side wheel had a direct hit on said "lawn ornament."

    I'm Crazy, no Water By-Pass?

summit racing sells them as well. Depending on the year of the intake it is either 3/8" NPT or 1/2" NPT threaded hole.
