    IT'S ALIVE!!!

The regulator was the first thing I checked. Usually if they are "bad" fuel will leak past the diaphragm. I suspect the injectors and have ordered caps, seals, and flters to rebuild them. Heck yeah it feels good. Especially since everyone was telling me EFI was too much trouble and just carb...

    IT'S ALIVE!!!

That is pretty much what I thought. My situation is that the pump will build approximately 40 psi while it is running and it has no problem maintaining it. However as soon as I shut the key off the pressure bleeds down to zero in a matter of seconds. I don't have any obvious leaks and the engine...

    IT'S ALIVE!!!

EFI Project - IT'S ALIVE! I have a few questions... As of 3/2/06 12:23 AM EST my 68 EFI project RUNS! Idle is a little rough, I think one or more injectors are sticking. But it runs and it sounds WONDERFUL! I will post more in the morning I have to be at work in 6 1/2 hours and need to sleep...

The penultimate of stupid looking Fords

I like the Fusion. I even like the new Lincoln whatever it is called except for the taillights. I think that probe pictured above is funny because they tried to hide the rear weheel well with a skirt and then accentuated it with the homey chrome trim :)

    EFI Harness from scratch...

Ok, I am so close I can almost hear it running ;) I have a few loose ends to tie up on the wiring harness and I figured I would start by posting here. My goal rigt now is to only get the engine running. I am not concerned with the rest of the the chassis right now. BOO - Brake On / Off -...

    Fuel system idea

Two reasons I can think of that you wouldn't want to do what you are showing. 1) Heat, the fuel is going to warm up as it is pumped to the engine and back. Sending it back to the engine without letting it cool down in the tank isn't the best idea. 2) Your pump will draw from whatever source...

    Make my '67 Coupe Handle

Lowering the front and raising the rear is not a good way to make your car handle any better.

Going To the Junk Yard tommorow.

Summit has 16" fans for $60.00 give or take $10.00. Not bad for new with a warranty.

    Got out bid

I thought about that when I used the "free trial" initially. A few years later and no issues at all. The worst that would happen is I would have to dump my existing ebay account and create a new one.

    EFI install, progress made

I was looking through your site. Nice job! Why did you choose a Gear Vendors over/underdrive instead of just a standard OD transmission? I have always thought the GV units were a neat idea but hard for me to justify the price compared to a complete transmission. Back on topic, do you have...

    Got out bid

I used to do that. The part that sucks is having to be awake and at the computer whenever the auction is scheduled to be over. Sometimes that is 3-4 in the morning which doesn't work for me. SnipeSwipe cost me $4-5.00 for 500 snipe points and I don't have to worry about checking the auctions.

    Work in progress pics...

yes it does help thank you. That was the other way I was going to mount them. RIght now the SS hose goes towards the front, then down to the caliper.

Fill in GT rear valance holes?

Oops! I missed that part in the original post. It looked like part of his sig. If it is molded in I would leave the exhaust going through it unless there is a really good reason not to. You could maybe cover the holes with a couple of circles with louvers punched in them. Personally I think it...

    Work in progress pics...

Marc, Which rear springs are those? More specifically what spring rate, spring width? Where did you get them? Which front brake hoses did you use, how long, where did you route them, any pics? I ask because I have the same Wilwood kit on the front of my 68 and bought the recommended Wilwood...
