    The second car has a clean title and all? I'd go with that simply because it runs. You can find a 351W block or whatever and take your time to build it while you have the 289 in there working for you to enjoy the car. Good luck!

    Sorry to say this but i think he is in the right. I mean if I were him, I'd have the car done by a body shop. But $450 seems like a lot for a little car like that... have him do 3 quotes made by different shops. Accidents suck :(

    I wouldn't mind the SRT as a daily driver / winter beater but not to replace any Mustang for HP needs. It will never add up to a Mustang. I bet a stock V6 Mustang is more fun to drive. But that's my opinion as I never really fell in love with the whole idiotic FWD deal...

    Putting engine on stand, what size bolts i need??

    Don't forget grade 5 or better quality bolts. Less carbon and tempered so the bolts won't have any chances of snaping under load.

    You could use some sort of thin layer of playdo on the piston and slowly turn the engine by hand... measure the gap you have between the lowest point and the piston. Do people still do this?

    I hear some spark plugs add 25HP, maybe it's 25HP each lol. Power isn't cheap and easy no matter how you look at it.

    It's a gas pedal? I was arguing that it was some sort of step to put on nerf bars for trucks :rlaugh: I'd take some sort of darkish blue, white stripes, GT-500 hood, and scoops, V6 wheels, wide ass tires, supercharger, and all black interior. :D

    That works for the mass airflow cars only. Ford gave a power boost via tuning on automatic Mustangs, which is why people were swaping computers in the 5-speeds. :D
