    Dump the A/C, that's a free mod not sure how much power it would give as AC systems don't take power unless you're using it. But I bet it would save a few pounds. Take apart the interior and remove all that tar stuff from the floor boards, another few pounds. Removing weight is cheap and effective.

    The 69-76 heads all use 1.85 and 1.54 valves with 60cc chambers and have rail rockers (PITA studs to deal with also). I don't know if that helps any?

    12.95 is pretty good. But if you had the whole stock EFI setup, how could it take up more fuel than carb and have less power? I'm still learning this but if I see too many horror stories I will stick to my oringinal idea which is CFI.

    Thanks for the info, the seller has both upper intakes but the intakes from the truck are still bolted together. I guess the GT40 intake has the staggered ports?
