    If the engine vacuum sucked up your tank or the baffles broke loose or if you put in an oversized fuel pump or if your fill pipe it too long or if your vent is not working or if you're filling it on a hill, it holds about 12.9 gal. If it's a 'normal' tank, it holds 15.4.

    Make sure your fuel return line is flowing. Has this always been happening since you had the car or did it start after you changed something?

    I would try one of the late model coils and see if that works. The TFI probably doesn't provide enough amperage or duration to allow the old style coils to build up voltage enough to fire.

    Worry about passing emissions insp. first. You don't pass, it doesn't matter how much you lose in power, you won't be driving it. Best thing for your pump and related items (except the cats) is to pull stuff off a U-Pull-It junkyard engine. Give you some experiance with not too much cost.

    The EEC has 2 power sources. 1 is 'hot' all the time for 'keep-alive-memory' power. The second is through the activation of the EEC relay by the ignition switch.     Look under the valve cover and get the casting # off the heads. Did you mean the plug diameter was too large?
