    EGR VALVE

You can make a tube from soft copper tubing found at your local hardware store without too much trouble :) I did it myself and it really wasn't all that bad :nono: Like was said above :D The correct way to not use it is to tell the pcm it is no longer in use ;) Yes ... you can take...

    TPS voltage...possible bad TPS

My old d logs showed about .92x at idle I had many peeps send me their d logs and remember seeing some as low as .6xx and .7xx but I don't remember any values as low as you report here I can't say if your tps is bad but If you do a motor off slow sweep of the full range ...

    3.73 or 4.10?

It sounds like you are concerned about turning too high of an rpm at highway speeds Generally speaking ......... Most say go 373's with stick and 410's with auto and I'd agree when talking street cars However Opinions can be very untrustworthy :( So ... why not use a method to...

what do you think about this build?

Looks pretty good :nice: I'd do three things differently myself :) 1) 30's 2) maybe  mid length runner intake (how high will that #19 pull to?) 3) lt's not knowing how high the cam will make power  I'd put 2 on the bottom of the list but If it pulls to 6K I'd not...

5.0 or 5.8? bang for buck!

Stick or Auto trans is one of those things only you can answer :) I've had an auto with high stall tc, shift kit and the whole 9 yards It was impressive to be sure  I've had a stick setup which was a full on drag app which was setup for high rpm power shifted gear changes :banana...

5.0 or 5.8? bang for buck!

I need to correct my post above :D I had the playoff game on my mind I guess  I said an auto trans will cause less than 15% driveline loss  and That just ain't right :nono: An auto trans will eat up MORE than 15% Grady

5.0 or 5.8? bang for buck!

Yes ... Specify if talking motor or wheel HP  Just to give you an idea about why it is so important :D Stick Trans Stang First You loose around 15% through the driveline therefore 400 motor X .85 = 340 at the wheels A fairly radical NA combo when using OEM short block...

    Help with ecu

The pcm you got is for an auto trans stang :nice: Auto trans stangs have a module located in the dash that has something to do with the auto trans So ... As I have seen some say on this forum  You need more than just the pcm for your swap :) I know for sure specific details...

    how much horsepower?

If you want to get the most power for the buck spent then that would be a whole different story as I see it :) Sure ... I'd then go along with what has already been said by others :nice: Stay with the NA method First thing to think about is the end result of different levels of power...

    how much horsepower?

I guess I'm one of the peeps in this thread who have been giving terrible advice  I saw the original concern being ............... I want 500 hp at the motor I did not ever see how good can I get with what I got  Yes ... The heads and intake are more suited to each...

    how much horsepower?

Again the value of boost is dependent upon parts used Lets talk about two extremes to show the idea here :D 1) Stock GT setup 2) Nice flowing aftermarket heads and intake Does it make sense if you apply the same pressure to both setups the little stock combo is gonna offer more...
