    WOT Tuning Question?

Sure ... either one will work :nice: but I can't see going to all the trouble of  removing the O2's plugging the holes and all that goes along with doing that :( Besides ... Now that I think about :D Even if the O2's were removed and you did not do a pcm reset ...

    cam upgrade

While I don't care for alphabet cams :) One thing to keep in mind is ......... those cams were built to crutch up the piss poor e ports of OEM heads therefore It would seem to me that ........... e cam would be more suited to be used with E7's than a TFS 1 cam that was built for...

I saw a fellow on ... that other Stang site ... ask about if he needed a tune Before you ask about my reply to him ............... I haven't been able to post there for several years cause they somehow got my account to where I can't post and after several requests to fix it ... I gave...

How are you makng your 94/95 331 stroker run right

Well Adam There are several ways to tune and I'll share a thought or two with you :) WOT tuning is walk in the park compared to Closed Loop tuning :Word: In the self tuning world ... THAT seperates the men from the boys :rlaugh: Honestly ... I never found wideband data to be all...

How are you makng your 94/95 331 stroker run right

I got more time this morn to talk ............ SO :) You say your Pro Tune was good for a couple months  I've seen what appears to be a tune slipping away  but in reality Various things such as faulty parts, v leaks and the like are at fault If the above has happened...

How are you makng your 94/95 331 stroker run right

I think too much focus is spent on fuel pressure in this case and in general with the entire Mustang community :) After all ... the pcm has no way to measure it in the first place  If the pcm has been ... tuned then it was tuned with the amount of pressure being used at that time...

    I need some more power

Great :) From what you've said ... 373's would be about right :nice: ALSO It would be a BIG help to all members if you created a sig so when you ask Q's, everybody won't have to ask what you now got and you won't have to answer that same Q over, and over, and over  Grady

    I need some more power

Stick or Auto trans  I'd do steeper gears first :Word: ratio depending upon type of trans For MORE POWER mods with the most gain for buck spent While tb's, meters, rr's and the like are easy mods to do ...... they will do little if anything for you now :( The 4 cat mid pipe...

    What's my next step....more power!!

No ... Not much difference between 355's & 373's At highway speeds you will turn about 125 more rpm with 373's  as opposed to 355's so I'd tell you to go with the steeper ratio for more smiles per mile :D Unless you go for more than just bolt ons which will not shift up or extend...

    Long vs. Short! headers...that is

NA First LT's promote scavenging :nice: The e pulse of one hole sucks the gas from another hole to help get rid of the e gas This is done in part because of the collector You don't get this from shortys cause they have no collector :( This promotes better low and mid range...

Not your average gear question... Ok well maybe...

I'd also say 430's are too steep for a street car :) Well ......... If you had some really tall tires :rlaugh: Grady

    What's my next step....more power!!

Stick or Auto trans  Steeper gearset will help ... BIG TIME :Word: For now ... tb or meter won't do squat :) Grady

How often do valve cover gaskets go bad?

Your repair to the ding on the heads looked good to me :nice: That ain't your prob :nono: The vc's are not fitting next to the heads as they should Warped vc's or something causing interference thus not allowing a good seal Just look over everything real good :Word: Good Luck:)...

Mustang Tuning / AFR / Timing Help!

In a way ... AFR during closed loop is kinda pointless cause the O2's are in control  You can look at the K's to see if they are adding or pulling fuel ;) then You can adjust meter airflow or inj values Of the two ... I think using inj values produces a more stable tune :) Grady

Mustang Tuning / AFR / Timing Help!

That does not surprise me at all Depending upon combo parts chosen .......... the little OEM meter will go farther than what many suspect I'd guess a ballpark value of about 290 to 310 sae to the wheels  Of course ... it all depends upon airflow past the meter which is dictated...

Mustang Tuning / AFR / Timing Help!

I also do not see how the little OEM meter will support such a combo  You don't have to be afraid of a Pro-M with a cal :nono: as long as You load in the curve and get it fairly close ;) Like Greg said :nice: Running aftermarket meters in cheat mode makes many things be...
