    Air Force guys!!

Well, an Army crew chief is totally different than a Chair Force (j/k) crew chief. So I can't speak for that position. But I agree with Danny. Do something where you get to fly alot. He listed the benefits of that. Ben ... you were at Seymour Johnson. LMAO. Did you see more Johnson...

Help on getting new springs for my Saleen clone

Welcome to SN! I can vouch for H&R Supersports. I love them. Nice feel in handling. Not as bumpy as my old stock springs. Nice look to them. But you will need to get C/C plates with these. Back is just a little lower than shown in this pic now that all is settled.

    Air Force guys!!

I am in a different branch. I am in maintenence myself. If I were you ... I'd do crew chief. But then again, I love flying. It's all what YOU want to do. FIRST ... think about the service. Do you want to retire? Or just a few years and get out? If the latter .... choose a job that...

    lowering spring intall

No spring compressing tool is needed. Some people literally kick the spring to get it out. I was going to attempt this ... but could not get at the spring with the right angle to kick it out. My suggestion (if you have a problem getting the front springs out) ... which I did not ... would...

    Who runs exhaust dumps?

I have dumps. I get the dust, too. The fumes only get to me when I am sitting in the car at idle for more than like 5 minutes ... which is not too often, lol. At idle dumps sound so sweet. All the vloume is bounced off the ground.

    So I had this noise...

You will not believe the difference. I changed my spark plugs again yesterday. I used a 3/8" ratchet and a spark plug socket. No extensions, universal joints, or any of that crap. Just the ratchet & socket on all of them. Took about 10-15 minutes ... if that. And that's taking time to...

would you leave in AC system

John, are you crazy!!!! SD is one of my favorite places in the U.S. I was in Barstow a few years ago and it was 125 degrees (about this time of year). Took a trip to SD and it was 69* and I was freezing my @SS off. Temps / humidity there is GREAT.

Centerforce Dual Friction DF clutch installed....

They usually are easier. Well, as you know ... the mechanical/cable setups are as easy as that. The clutch fork is moved in / out via all the linkages. Hydro has a master cylinder and slave cylinder. Some still have a clutch fork. But some use a release bearing only. Most hydro's...

Centerforce Dual Friction DF clutch installed....

Holy crap! If the CF is softer than the stage 1 ... I'd hate to imagine what the stage 1 is like. Then again, I had my CF in a Ranger with a hydraulic setup. Maybe alot different, lol. It was like trying to press your foot into a brick wall. Glad to hear it worked out well for ya'...

    Balancer options?

I have never really heard ANYTHING bad about Romac, Pioneer, or Professional Products balancers for our cars. This seems to be the only PP part that doesn't see a complaint here and there, lol.

    Is the search feature screwey?

BTW, if you do a search on anything in "5.0 Mustang" ... it will pull up 94-95 TALK threads. You just can't directly search in the 94-95 talk section for some reason.
