    Seafoam is teh *****!

Seafoam to detect leaks?? Ok so this is my question. Can seafoam be used to detect leaks in the system? I used it a while ago and had a small bit of smoke coming out from somewhere on the left side of my engine. I was in the driver's seat so I couldn't exactly determine where it was coming...

    Sea foamin v6

Your picture is not the "correct" location. It may or may not work where you showed, but as far as I know the PCV is on the other side of then engine. I will check tonight and get you a pic of mine so you know where to do it at. Go ahead and put some in the gas tank while you wait. EDIT...

    roll bar?

May not look as bad if you add covers/padding to the bars. AP sells them, some with color options, but you can also get similar pipe insulation at Lowes or Home Depot.

    Pulley,Exhaust ?'s

VMP Tuning has the ASP UDP for the 94-98 (I'm assuming this is for your '94) with a belt for $90. Good company to buy from.

3.8 v6 convertible purchase questions please

'00 3.8 is rock solid for me. Top condition depends on how often used and if the car was kept under cover and what not.

    Pulley,Exhaust ?'s

Yes, gains are somewhat noticeable at mid to upper RPMs. Gas mileage has slightily improved. I'm most happy about the overall smoothness of the ride now that I've had it on for a few months. I've noticed 0 difference in A/C functionality. I'm bone stock when it comes to accessories, CD...

    Tuner Questions

Finally found out why there was a price difference. VMP Tuning gives you 3 tunes while AM only comes with 1, and they charge about $15 for each extra tune. I ordered the xcal from Justin last week, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

    roll bar?

Autopower Industries makes them for 94+ verts, among other vehicles. I'm pretty sure they are out of San Diego.

    Electrical problems...

The width of the tire corresponds to the width of the rim (e.g. 16x9), thus, to my knowledge, you are stuck with that particular width.

    Electrical problems...

You spray where the door latch is. The sensor is very small and below it. Spraying a generous amount in that location typical reaches the sensor area with no problem. Silicone spray can be found almost anywhere you find WD-40. It's not expensive at all. I'd check Advanced, Autozone, or...

    Perfomance Chip myth

I, personally, would go with a flash tuner over a chip. You can get about 10hp on the v6 with a higher octane gas; so you have to ask yourself if $400 is worth that type of gain. But the ease of use of switching back to default with the handheld tuner would sell it for me. There are knobs...

    Electrical problems...

^ Possibly a malfunctioning door sensor or your door latches/switches may be sticking. Douse them with some silicone spray and see if that clears up the dome light issue.

    Tuner Questions

AmericanMuscle.com sells the tuner for $30 less than VMP. I've had some previous dealings with them in the past and never had any problems. I'm just debating who will provide the better tunes.
