Pictures of Emerald green LX coupes.

Mine's Reef, but I've left it stock appearing. I prefer sleepers. I put the money under the hood.

    tuning help

Find a proven tuner...nine times out of ten they are cheaper and a LOT less time consuming. Plus with countless hours of dyno time, if your car has a hiccup, they know right where to go to take it out and acquire the stock driveability that you're after.

    blow-by issues

I'd perform a cyl leak down test and see how much is getting past your rings.

More importantly, where's the AFR? Air fuel ratio? 342 rwhp would defintely get you an 11 second pass NA.

Corrosion. Keep it or sell it?

My GT is my DD and so far no rust. My Notch however only comes out when the planets are aligned. I spend most of my seat time strattled over two wheels; I motorcycle about 4-5,000 miles a year.

Corrosion. Keep it or sell it?

See post above... Then, keep it, pay it off and drive the heck out of it. It's a DD and it's already depreciated X amount of dollars and you still owe another two years on it; it's going to take some abuse. If you're like me where you think you will always want to drive a 'Stang, pay this...

Corrosion. Keep it or sell it?

LEt's see some pictures of the doors. When I got my 04 (gently used, never saw winter in until '09) I coated the door skins (where it's folded over inside) with lithium grease. Fluid Film claims to starve off rust. I've also heard of a quality bar & chain lube being used as a rust...

    Seeing more and more foxes

I almost traded my notch off for this: The guy backed out at the last minute; would have been this coming Friday that we would have done the swap. AZ rig, no rust.

    Seeing more and more foxes

Fox chassis had served from '78-'04 and was a dire need of being retired. S-197 was a positive move and helped to keep the Mustang alive. The '11 chassis has improved over the '05-'10 and when magazine editors love the car, the public will to. The quad cam vvt 5.0 was icing on the cake. If...

Running rich, failing emissions. Please help!

Mike, Make sure your TPS voltage is below .95 Turn base timing down to 8-10 degrees with spout connector pulled out. Fresh oil, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, air filter and pcv to ensure you are up to snuff. Make sure your smog pump is still dumping air into the second set of cats...

    Seeing more and more foxes

I've had non-car folk refer to my Notch as an Escort; go figure. My wife thinks it is too boxy and much prefers my 04GT over my 93. Another Fox fan and I were discussing how Foxes seem to take people back to a happy place...strong economy, cheap gas...Race gas was 3.29 and premium was $1.19...

    Seeing more and more foxes

Earlier in Sept I met up with some local enthusiasts and we were referred to as Mustang Row at a local car show; total attendance was a hair over 800 cars. I was the only Fox to represent that era in our section. There were a few other clean Foxes at the show. I received a rediculous amount...

I roll on an '82 Suzuki Gs1100 4000+ miles a year and the carbs are just fine, even down to 32 degree mornings.
