    Anyone ever eliminated the fender solenoid?

    I removed mine. But I added a 150 amp fuse block between the battery cable and the rest of the wiring. I also had to add a small relay to trigger the solenoid on the starter because the pink/green wire didnt carry enough current to engage the starter. I will get pics of my setup here soon for you.

    Mechanical water gauge, won't register over 150*

    I have a simular issue. My car does NOT get over 160 while driving. It will get to 210 at idle and then the fans turn on. stock water pump, underdrive pullies, 195* t-stat, stock radiator, and SN95 3.8 fan assy.

    Yes, i trimmed the studs off. Also I have all the factory wiring diagrams if you need them. They are for the mach1000 system (upgrading mine to that here soon) but all the other wiring is the same.

    3.55 or 3.73 gears?

    have 3.55's want something taller. First is all but worthless and second is also. Last summer had a 275 on the rear and whould blow them away until mid 3rd gear. Looking at the 3.31's also.

    I have a stock copper Rad and my fan hasn't turned on in days.... It idled for about an hour today and it never came on. Running a 3.8 SN95 Fan with a thermal switch.
