    Best way to ship heads

Hey guys. I've got a pair of iron gt40's that I may be shipping in the next month or so and obviously a cardboard box isn't going to cut it. Whats the best container? How should I secure it in the container. I was thinking zipties to a board? Also, who do you think would be the best shipping...

    40mpg I did it!!! 40mpg

The plant in alabama is a manufacturing and assembly plant. The plant in TN will produce engines when its complete. Oh and the cars themselves are designed, engineered and tested in Michigan and California. Hyundai has invested a lot in north america and employs a lot of U.S. workers. That was...

Hyundai's are made in Alabama if I remember correctly. They are also opening a plant in Tennessee.

    EASY CONTROL ARM ?

Are you changing the axle side bushings? Yes get the ford rubber ones. You should also get the bushing removal tool MM sells. They are a real PITA to get out without it. My father-inlaw made me a similar tool, but the first set of washers we used collapsed and just pulled the rubber out and not...

    Thinking about an S2000

The fox suspension was designed in the mid 70's. Its even less fair to compare the two. I would like to buy a crx to play with. My wife used to have one and it was great. How about spending the money on some maximum motorsport suspension pieces. I just did lower and upper control arms on...

Max Motorsports = Best cust service ever!!

+1 MM has great customer service. They have helped me identify counterfeit parts, and even wanted to know where I got them, so that they could follow up. Every email I have sent was answered promptly, even off business hours. They have even answered my questions when it was obvious that there...

    push button start

Not hating... But whats the point of a push button start on a street car? If you still have to put the key in the ignition and turn it why add the extra step of having to hit a button. Just coolness factor? Just curious.

how do ya feel about LS1 powered Mustangs?

Since those are still Ford powerplants I'm not sure if those examples really make your point as much as you think they do  As to the OP. Its cool, and I'm not a brand loyal guy, but I'm not for hybrids.

    Thinking about an S2000

It could eat your notch? I kept up with one just fine in my nearly stock coupe. Aren't they flat 14 sec cars? If you want a roadster w/ balls get a miata and drop a 302 in it.

how much was your trans work (t5)

I was given a verbal quote of 700-900. That was removing mine, crediting me the core, and giving me the equivalent rebuilt. I'm currently saving for it as mine has developed a whine.

    Eaton M90 on a fox?!?!

Probably a dumb question, but how come nobody makes a lower intake to mate up with m90? They can be had for so cheap I would think that it would be a popular mod if it was possible.

    inlet track tubing

Mine fit fine without cuting the inlet tube. Just required a little squeezing. But it could also be that my airbox isn't really mounted to the fender like it should be so maybe I got the wiggle room I needed.

    inlet track tubing

It will fit. I got mine on by placing the inlet tube in boiling water to soften it. I also put a light film of oil on the maf housing where it would slip on. Then I just pushed the inlet onto the housing. Some people have cut theres inorder for it to fit, so I bought a second inlet pipe off a...
