    390 In a 65?

There are two pages of pictures in the link below. One shows how the shock towers are cut back to make it easier to work on the FE in the car. They are tight in a 67. I wouldnt even try to put one in a 65/66 myself.

Who is the better driver and why ? Auto-cross or Drag racing

This is easy. As someone that has drag raced for 30+ years. As someone that has owned the number one championship car two years in a row here at the local oval track. I can tell you the answer. It takes money for first class equipment. It takes a crew chief and crew that get the job done...

    fuel pump questions

The fuel presure gauge is a must to see whats going on. If your using the stock fuel tank and lines with filters, that might be a problem too. There should be a sock on the end of the sending unit in the tank. And depending on what type of inline fuel filter your using could be restricking it...

    Battery Relocation help

I would say nothing less than 12 ga, might even use 10 ga depending on how many feet you need to run it. If you move the solenoid to the trunk dont you still need to take the starter cable from the other side of it to the starter. And I think that the cable to the starter needs to be shorter...

Seeking advice on disc brake conversion--

I did the SSBC from NPD on mine. Other than brake fluid and grease it all fit with no problems. Quality seals and bearing came with the kit. All the hose's and metal lines fit and were right. I was very impressed with the kit. Pictures are in the link below. Bud

    Reverse manual valve body question

Since a reverse valve body works backwards, you mean you dont have to manually shift it? I know they have air shifters for them. But I didnt know the tranny would work on its own? Thats interesting.

Power Brakes vs. Manual which do you perfer

I just did the SSBC slotted rotor kit on mine. I dont plan on using a booster. Had one on one of the other stangs like this one and the cam was too big. So it didnt work all that good to start with. Plus was in the way most of the time since I run the FE motors. And I am shooting for low to mid...

Best head gaskets to ensure no leakage

I've always used Felpro blue's that dont need to be retorqued. Never had one fail. Besure and put them on right if they say front on one end. The block can be surfaced. Throw a straight edge on the top and see if its straight. If everything looks good. Clean the bolt holes with a tap and use new...

    Neutral safety switch questions??

I dont know about your 70 model, but my 67 has four wires. Two are for the switch and the other two are for the backup lights. You can tie the right two together and make it work. But it will work in any gear. So you have to becarefull. When they start in gear things go wrong quick. Figure out...
