    WTFO's Old Yella

Here's the car I'm attempting to rescue from the crusher.

1968 coupe, rear lights not working right

Your still running the external voltage regulator right? Double check that ground wire that should be on one of the screws on the radiator support panel. Like RobbZ28 said- it could be related to the front lights as well since all the lights are related to the headlight switch and the flasher...

    A tough decision...

I'm in the same boat but I'd never be able to sell it and make my money back.(chopped off the back half of the car) It sits in my garage with a huge pile of new metal and other parts and I go out there and tinker when I get the chance or motivation. I crank up some ZZ Top, crack open a couple of...

    Which wiring harness?

I found out about their company from the rat rod crowd around here and heard nothing but good things. I've used a couple Painless kits in the past too and I just didn't see 700 bucks worth of wiring. I guess that they don't have a huge overhead so they don't overcharge for their products.

One Wire Alternator with MSD Ignition

My drinking buddy's 64 Falcon also runs a one wire with MSD 6 Digital and the battery in the trunk. We race it regularly with no issues. His car is set up with a large steel bracket to the driver's side cylinder head for a torque strap which also doubles as the engine ground. What ground is on...

    Is this a good deal?

I'd call him to check on the title papers first. If it sounds too good......but if you go with a haggle price after you "pick the car apart" and you're willing/able to do the work- you could end up with a saveable car.

HEI Distributor or Pertrnix Electronic Ignition

Hey it's your car, man. The Isuzu steering box is A LOT less noticeable than a huge GM HEI cap blocking your air filter. The HEI may be cheaper than a Mallory or Pertronix but if you want your other Ford buddies to heckle you after you lift your hood- go for it.

    cable clutch quadant

You could get the whole kit with the cable and keep the extra cable for a spare. Those cables do stretch after a while and have to be replaced once you can't readjust it to the proper preload.
