    Rear Gears

I once asked a friend of mine that was pretty savy about racing about Richmond gears. He told me they were strong, but noisey. One other brand I have read some good things about is Yukon.

    Rear Gears

FRPP Gears If you research this question, you will see tons of discussions about gear brands. FRPP gears are well known to be the brand that will be most likely NOT to whine. That is the reason most people on here will advise you to stay with Ford gears. :nice:

2008 GT Rear Gear Oil Type

+1 on the 70W140. I use full synthetic Amsoil too. One bottle of Ford friction modifier is a good idea too.

    plugs

I have been running the #7989 Champion plugs for nearly 50,000 miles with great success, car runs great. The Motorcraft and the Autolite plugs are exactly the same plugs, both 2 piece plugs and therefore subject to breaking on removal. Choose wisely. :)

Question about HID'S (headlight) and Fog Light HID'S

Thanks for the kind words. Yea, she's my Baby. One addition since that picture was taken is a black Roush hood scoop right in the middle of the hood. I found some very cool emblems on Ebay that are red, white and blue and say "High Performance 281" with a Ford blue oval underneath. The whole...

Question about HID'S (headlight) and Fog Light HID'S

Yes, I have the H10 Hoen bulbs. They seem to work well in fog. When you get ready to install the fog bulbs, the owners manual tells you exactly how to do it. I had to fight my way through the install and when I found the section in the owners manual, I thought "Gee, that would have been easier"...

Mustang 2006 std v8 heat core problem

I understand what you say, but I have used Bars Leaks with no problems. I have even read GM puts it in every Cadillac from the factory just to make sure there is no seepage anywhere in the cooling system.

Mustang 2006 std v8 heat core problem

Wow, a heater core is a MAJOR job. This isn't something most people should even consider doing yourself. You might want to consult a dealer service dept. I would try a product such as Bars Leaks before I tore into that job. Take the easy shot first!

    HID?

I wouldn't expect a huge difference. I'm sure the 55W will be a little brighter. I went with 35W because that is what OE HIDs are. I also thought the 35W would run a bit cooler and might last a bit longer.

    HID?

Glad I could help. Let us know when you get them installed. One thing I read when I got mine, somebody recommended using not only the gaskets on the HID bulbs, but also use the gaskets on the bulbs you are replacing. One gasket didn't seem quite thick enough. I did this. It made the new bulb a...
