    IIRC the 99/01's were rated 20hp more than the 96-98's so you probably won't feel much of a seat of the pants difference but if the IRS is in decent shape you should have a smoother ride.

    I have had mine done on a laser alignment machine and the front end parts are like new and mine still likes to wander. I think a lot of it is from how crappy our roads are here.

    I have 275's on the front and they rub on a full turn and I find the front wants to wander with them. I like the look but when the need to be replaced I will go with something smaller.

    Ask them to put it up on a lift and make sure the IRS isn't leaking any fluids. Also take a good look at the bushings. The 99/01's aren't as stout as the 03/04's but that can be remedied with a replacement kit from Full Tilt Boogie Racing. As for the trans it is a T45 so it's like a grenade with...

    I'd keep the 3:27's before changing to 3:55's. I have 4:10's with the s/c and wouldn't want any less gear. If you are staying n/a I'd strongly recommend 4:30's. I plan on taking the s/c off next year and going back to stock but swapping the SRA out for a 99 IRS w/31 spline axles and 4:56's:burnout:

    I picked up a 99 IRS off of SVTP that had the upgraded 31 spline carrier/axles, 4:56 gears Billet Flow brace, front MM brace, Magnaflow catback, H&R springs and Q1-A shocks for $1300. I need to put new bushings in it but I still think I got a pretty good deal.

    If you are going with a centrifugal s/c get one with a intercooler. I went with the basic Vortech package and ended up adding a bigger maf, fuel pump, injectors, powerpipe and Paxton intercooler.
